I purchased a Toyota Auris from this dealership on 17th November for my 79-year-old grandfather, and it has been an absolute nightmare.
We have had constant mechanical issues, including a faulty Valvematic actuator and—most alarmingly—a brake fluid leak. Selling a car with leaking brakes is a massive safety risk, especially for an elderly driver.
When we returned the car for repairs, we were repeatedly lied to. Staff claimed the car was "good to go," but it was obvious no work was done—the car was simply left sitting outside BOC. Because of their incompetence, I’ve had to source my own parts and pay for repairs out of pocket just to make the car safe and functional.
To make matters worse, the dealership is now completely ignoring all my emails regarding reimbursement.
This process has caused my grandfather an incredible amount of stress. They are happy to take your money, but as soon as there is a problem, they go silent and ignore their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act.
Avoid this place at all costs. They are dishonest, unreliable, and have zero regard for customer safety.
