Predatory waitlist system and rigid customer service
I've been a fairly regular client of solidcore for four years so I clearly find the workout helpful. However, its app is bad, and customer service is WORSE. Their billing system has a significant flaw: it allows clients to join a waitlist, and be added to a class, even when they have zero remaining credits.
In my case, I was automatically moved from the waitlist into a class with less than an hour and a half of notice. By the time I realized I had been added, it was already too late to cancel without incurring a fine. When I pointed out that the system should never have moved me into a paid spot if I didn't have the credits to cover it, the response from management was essentially "it’s your responsibility to check."
It is unreasonable to hold a client liable for a system flaw that fails to verify payment/credits at the time of booking. Instead of acknowledging the lack of logic in their booking software, they doubled down on their "policies." I have updated my payment method just to stop the back-and-forth emails, but I will not return once I use up my credits. If you value transparent billing and a system that actually protects the user from accidental charges, look elsewhere.
