Very disappointing experience.
Contacted SolarStar for a quote, which they did comeback with £9.5k and invited to ask questions and book site visit.
Did ask Karen questions via email and rang to book site visit never heard back from them again, no with answers to email or visit arrangement!
I guess it is very selected customers they actually provide service to.

I am very pleased with the installation and in combination with the smart meter Octopus fitted has enabled me to lower considerably the cost of my electric consumption. I recommend Star Solar Power as a business expert in installing the panels which were fitted together with the inverter all within 1 day.

Extremely helpful and efficient service from first enquiry through to fitting and aftercare. Always ready to answer queries and provide technical explanations.

This was my second installation as I have moved both installation were good clean and professional no sign that they had been only panels on roof all wires hidden 1st installation I had falt after 4.5 years repair under warranty with in days can not fall them in any way

Really friendly and reliable company. We are so pleased with our solar panels. Fitted on time, everywhere was left tidy and the panels, heating boost and zappi car charger work really well. We can’t wait for the power wall storage to be fitted. Would definitely recommend them .

We had a 6.3kw system installed west facing in April. The predicted figure given for May was well exceeded at 700kwh and we are ahead of target for the annual consumption. Once the Tesla battery is fitted, we are confident our annual consumption will be less than the power generated from the solar panels, meaning our electric cost will be virtually nothing. The iBoost for the immersion heater also means we can turn off the gas making further savings. Quick installation, competitive price and the panels look great in black in the roof.

David and his team installed PV panels for us in 2014 and has given us support whenever we need it.

The quality of work and the installation were excellent and we have had 8 years of fantastic solar power which we will miss when we move to our new house in the next few days.

Usually, reviews are made on goods or services that have been purchased in the recent past. They don’t usually convey the level of support that may be provided or product longevity etc. When we initially had our solar panels installed by Solar Star Power back in 2015 we were very pleased with the work and the functioning of our solar system and it has worked reliably until just a few weeks ago when we noticed it had stopped generating. We contacted Solar Star and they sent a technician (Paul) to diagnose the problem. Our inverter is made by SolarEdge, and Paul contacted the company during his investigation and they both concluded that the inverter was at fault. Very happily they also concluded that this would be resolved under warranty. A few weeks later, Paul re-visited us with a brand new inverter which he fitted and is now working perfectly, and the entire job was free of charge. Needless to say, we are delighted with this outcome and thought it was important that potential customers realise that Solar Star Power not only provide excellent installations, but they are also committed to providing long-term support for the systems they install. Well done to Solar Star Power and well done to SolarEdge for honouring their warranty 7 years on, without question.

The whole process was easy, from the initial meeting/survey to the final job. We had a good explanation of how everything would work and what to expect. We agreed a date for the installation and this was done according to schedule and all completed within a morning. All of the work was clean and tidy and all looks great. Looking forward to the battery arriving in the summer so that I can make most use of the system.
