Laryssa is such a great coach and very knowledgeable about her field. She gives actionable and practical feedback. Laryssa was recommended to me by two friends of mine in the Smart Coach and I am so glad I requested to have her as mine. For a few years now, I have been dreaming of building a coaching business. I have attended countless 3-day free trainings, workshops, sprints, and that kind of thing. And, I have paid for two previous high ticket packages meant to help me launch my coaching business. Both ended up being HUGE groups with hot seat coaching (aka I never got coached 1:1) and the one where I was assigned a coach, was also group calls with access only via Google Docs. Very disappointing, not to mention disheartening to have two separate experiences where I did not reach my goals.

The material is fresh, specific, and provides a step by step roadmap to building, then marketing your business. The piece on mindset blew open barriers for me that I did not even know were there. I have studied a LOT of mindset so I was like, oh boy, here we go again.... I was so wrong. I can almost guarantee that Smart Coach's approach to mindset work is something you have never experienced before. Plus, it's not theory. It's all grounded in specific assignments that help you reach the next level of your journey. I have a coach Lindsey who is amazing and we meet 1:1 EVERY WEEK. In between meetings, I can ask f feedback on Slack, and she responds daily during the work week. Mind blown! Finally, the community is incredible. I have been part of similar communities where other peoples' successes made me feel intimidated. But the founders and staff at Smart Coach have created a community where everyone is truly there to support one another. During my first week, I had someone reach out and offer to help me with my positioning, the spent nearly and hour texting ideas to me! Seeing people just a couple of steps ahead of me, who were nervous or unsure just a couple of weeks ago, sharing that they signed 3 clients are that their eel went viral and they are booked with sales calls, is incredibly motivating and helps me hold a vision for my success.

It’s been truly fantastic! I have greatly appreciated how concrete and to the point the program is! It’s taught me exactly what I have been needing to get leads! This course has been really educational and helpful in learning what works and what doesn't. The one thing I have not liked so far is how when setting up the funnels, you have to pay for each separate program, like zoom...etc. It was quite a shock to me to find out how much I paid for the course and then to find out later on in the course that I have to pay for other additional programs so I could continue on with the course, that was a bit frustrating.

I've done a few coaching programs and this one had the best mindset content, 1:1 coaching so that you get feedback WEEKLY on what you are doing and why it may or may not be working. They also give you an action plan so that there's no question about what you should be doing to get results. And the coaches are amazing, they KNOW THEIR STUFF. Every interaction is helpful.

I spent 6 months in the Spark program and walked away with zero clients and a lot of questions about whether this program delivers what it promises.

Let me be fair first: the online course content is solid. You'll learn how to set up your business, define your client avatar, and understand the basics of sales and Instagram reels. If that's all you needed, it has value... though I've since found comparable courses selling for $47.

Here's where it falls apart.

The "coaching" is barely coaching. You get 20 minutes per week with your coach and access to a Slack channel that, in practice, offers little real community. Nearly every post is someone tagging the coach with a question or problem, and if you post, don't expect much back. There's no feeling of people learning from each other or being in it together. It's less of a community and more a queue for coach attention.

After months with no clients, my coach's advice was to rewrite my Instagram bio. That was it. That is not coaching. That is noise dressed up as guidance.

The group calls are a time sink. They can run 2+ hours, are scheduled mid-day, have no agenda beyond a live 'review' of someone else's work, and cover whatever the host feels like discussing. You listen and hope something lands.

The ROI Guarantee is misleading. They claim 87% of clients earn their investment back within 3 months (I was told this on the sales call). I've spoken to and found MANY others online who made $0. I am one of them. When a guarantee is built around a statistic that doesn't appear to reflect reality, it's not a guarantee, it's a marketing line.

The costs don't stop at $7,800. Once you're inside, you're steered toward paid tools; Calendly, Perspective, business banking offers, and others, many of which appear to be affiliate-linked.

Then, mid-program, the owner launched his own platform, MemberUp, and announced that Spark members now had access to it; framed as a perk. What that actually meant was: anyone could sign up and pay $83/month for it. There was no discount, no inclusion, no benefit. It was a sales pitch dressed up as member value.

I don't doubt there are people who've succeeded in this program. But the structure, the coaching quality, and the pricing don't hold up to scrutiny. Do your research before you invest. I wish I had.

I had some hesitation about committing to this investment, and I can say that Smart Coach has completely blown my expectations out of the water. The investment is so worth it and I'm amazed that I now have the freedom to do what I love with their guidance/coursework.

I have been meeting with Laryssa and she has really been awesome. She helps me focus and hone in on my specialty. Sometimes I just want to "do it all" but she breaks it down and gives me better direction. I am still looking forward to growing and expanding my business, but really feel like this has given me a strong foundation and knowledge that I did not have.
