Chalet Rouses Les Deux Alpes
Staff were friendly, esp Emma,and food was acceptable but rarely memorable at Chalet Rouses, Les Deux Alpes,but I didn't think they were " on it".Simple things-replenish water jugs without a need for people to ask.Ditto, the muesli jar. Clear away aperitif drinks on tuesday evening before your day off.Switch coffee machine on before people come down in the morning.
I have been on about 15 skiing holidays, and last years chalet staff were the best I have encountered, so the bar was, possibly, unfairly high for the class of 26
An amazing holiday with skiworld
Stayed for the first time in one of SkiWorld’s three star plus chalets in Méribel Mottarett had an amazing week. The whole package was well put together with the Jet2 flight from Manchester all going smoothly along with the efficient transfer via coach to the door of the chalet. The hosts were a credit to the company and were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a freshly cooked hot English breakfast type option along with cereal, croissants, breads, yogurt, fruit etc. Each afternoon there was a tasty cake waiting for us. We had a pre fizz drink prior to every evening meal, a three course meal each night. The food was excellent and very plentiful and all served with free flowing red, white or rose wine.
The chalet itself was a little on the rustic side but it was clean, had a comfortable bed and a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.
Poor value for money and a litany of excuses
Having booked similar trips with other operators, this was our first time booking with skiworld and the first time we were disappointed. Allocated a room so small that we needed to rearrange the furniture just to fit our suitcases in, the food was often spicy and poorly cooked, the distance from the lift was not correct as per the advert, the security was lax, and every problem we encountered seem to have multiple excuses, rather than one consistent explanation. Just generally very poor value for money, and we won't be using them again.

Jack & Beth at Chalet Theresa were the highlight of our trip
Smooth journey and stay throughout from the transfer team to Chalet hosts. Our hosts Jack and Beth were INCREDIBLE!! Jack welcomed us, gave us some great advice when we got there, including apps to download, places to eat on our self-catering day and routes to follow. Both Jack and Beth were exceptional cooks, and catered to our group’s many dietary requests amazingly. Nothing was too much for either of them. They’re both extremely professional, hardworking, kind and fun individuals; who my friends and I feel so lucky to have met and had as our hosts. Also, an honourable mention to Christan and Ben too, who also were super friendly. All the hosts made it hard to leave Chalet Theresa, they truly made our trip unforgettable for all the right reasons.
Christmas 2025
We spent Christmas 2025 in the resort of Les Deux Alpes in the Chalet Chamois Volant. We are a group of 13 people (3 families) and we had an amazing Christmas. The chalet hosts in this chalet are exceptional and if you are considering booking for the 25/26 season I would not hesitate in booking this chalet. The food, service and hospitality made our Christmas very special and this chalet is cosy and traditional adding to the authentic Christmas experience. The booking process was easy and it was a treat to have absolutely everything included on the chartered BA flight. I would not hesitate in booking another SkiWorld holiday.
Transfer Back with Ski World was Chaos.
Chalet and hosts were great, however transfer back from the airport was a disaster. After a great week skiing we returned via Grenoble airport. When we arrived the airport was chaos and there was little presence there from anyone from Ski World despite it being a bespoke charter flight for them. All the other flights , BA for instance, were being checked in fine and left on time. It took 2 hours for us to check inland get through security with no communication about what was going on. We ended up leaving 3 hours late after a very early start, all of which could have been avoided with better organisation . I wouldn't book with Ski World again based on this experience and would just book all the elements independently.

Making dreams come true
I just want to share how incredible my experience has been with Hannah Piggott at Skiworld. After finishing cancer treatment, booking my first ski holiday felt emotional, overwhelming, and honestly a bit scary but Hannah turned it into the most positive and empowering experience I could have asked for.
From the very first conversation, she showed genuine warmth, patience, and kindness. She took the time to understand what this trip meant to me, answered every question with care, and made sure every detail was perfect so I could feel confident and excited again. Her professionalism is outstanding, but it’s her compassion and human touch that truly sets her apart.
Because of Hannah, I’m not just going on a holiday, I’m celebrating a huge milestone in my life. I can’t wait to hit the slopes again, and I’ll forever be grateful to her for helping me make this special trip happen.
Skiworld are lucky to have someone like Hannah on their team. She made me feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for.

Good customer service but website needs improving
The website experience is not great, when filtering you should be able to filter for multiple options within 1 category. As such spent a lot of time making minor tweaks and reviewing what was available.

Got loads of great advice when booking over the phone. Took my time (over about 2 weeks) and although I was contacted, I wasn't rushed into make a decision. Very happy with the price for the ski holiday I booked. Looking forward to January now!
