I just don’t like you
I just don’t like you so you’re getting another 1 star review. Leaches. Paid for my parking. Had proof and still had to pay you money grabbing scum for a ticket I didn’t deserve
Terrible
Terrible. Paid using the machine. There’s a sign saying “you may not get a ticket” so didn’t think anything of it. Got a fine. Checked bank and no payment was taken. Appealed it on grounds stated to no avail. Total robbery and will never use again.
SIP car parking SCAM
Just reading a few reviews which justify my own experience of parking in Hyde town centre for 3/4 hr.
I parked my Kia Sportage which is not a small car at the side of the paperless pay meter, in a run down area parking approx. 25 cars. The side of the meter was unmarked with usual cross/ cross no parking markings.
I received a fine having paid in full, for wrong area parking. Sent an email in explanation which was acknowledged, saying fine would be reviewed. After which I received notice of confirmation of fine. Paid £60 fine , but, wrote letter my to object again to the none marked area. No other communications will be accepted for Parking other than letter. After 1 month of waiting, nothing. These people should be legalised for fraud and collecting under false pretences.
Since my experience I have seen other cars in the same parking spot. It it to continuously collect (in my belief ) illegal fines. Kia Sportage MK22EVD, since sold.
SCAMMERS and LIARS
SCAMMERS.
I parked in SIP carpark in Halifax. I put £1 in the meter which paid for 2 hours parking. The carpark is in a not very nice area, and is badly lit, I didn't feel particularly safe when I left my vehicle. I only stayed about 20 minutes, and returned to my car and drove out of the carpark. About 3 hours later late at night I dropped a female friend off who had parked her car in that same carpark, I drove in and out of the carpark to drop her off at her car without parking.
SIP then tried to fine me for insufficient payment. They claim there is no record of my vehicle leaving and re-entering - LIARS.
I hope you read this SIP carparks. You are liars. that footage exists because I know I drove out of the carpark and back in again. I will not be paying any fine, if you want it you will have to take me to court I Can mention all these other people who have had similar experiences too.....
SIP is a rubbish scam company
Can I rate SIP as zero star? As what all other people giving one star, I think SIP is a scam company. Even you paid the fee, they still give you a ticket. When you appeal, they give you another reason to reject. Last time I parked in Essex St in Birmingham, they gave me a ticket for not paying then after appeal, they said I didn’t park in an appropriate manner. But all drivers park in the same way. In that car park, they don’t even provide clear line for parking bay! Never never never go to that car park!
Scam company
Scam company, every SIP car park I have been into has a faulty machine but then doesn't let me pay on app.
Avoid at all costs.
Scam carpark
Parked within a bay. In front of a sign. Paid with ticket on full display. Got a PCN. Appealed. They've rejected it, with no grounds to. Terrible, seems to be a scam
Bad experience
Parked at north mid hospital and main hospital said pay on exit.
Machine didn’t work so tried app in multi storey car end of site and it said it didn’t recognise my number plate and it didn’t let me change the entry time so I paid what it said and I was worried at the time but nothing I could do as it was a Sunday and office closed when rang.
Subsequently sent me a £60 fine and as I pray paid it says I can’t challenge it!!!
Wrong on all counts.
I would give it no stars if I could
I would give it no stars if I could! Please avoid this car park to save yourself a lot of money!
I parked in the Birmingham one to register the birth of my child. My partner took my car to park and I went inside, he said the machine wasn’t working so he purchased the parking session via the SiP website.
Then I receive a PCN for not paying for parking, I didn’t realise it was for this specific one and I paid the fine as I couldn’t remember instantly. Afterwards I spoke to my partner about this and he said it was for the car park where the machine wasn’t working so I asked him to look back through his transactions to see if the payment cleared which it did so we did pay for a parking session. So I contacted SiP which is also a nightmare to do, and through countless emails they are refusing to issue a refund for the fine I paid and keep saying over and over there is no payment on our system for your cars registration through PayByPhone even though I’ve continuously showed them it was paid through their own website and I have attached the proof of payment on the day to the emails and they’re still denying it. IAS is a waste of time too and there’s no one else you can possibly get help from, so I’m £60 down from trying to do the right thing, even though I did do the right thing in the first place and did pay for a parking session. It’s a joke, so please don’t fall into the trap!
Just another ridiculous payment for…
Just another ridiculous payment for just "being." I stopped my car for a few minutes to look at a sunset and got fined. I mean, it's just so ridiculous we live in this mad system. It just makes me think, what are we doing? Why are we living in this capitalistic, unconscious society? When will we wake up? Maybe it is truly time to live off the grid...but how can we change consciousness if we live as hermits and get out of society?
Please let's help them.
Another money making scam from CPM
Another money making scam from CPM. Targeting old and vulnerable people who have no idea about digital and don't have access to computers, smart phones and internet. This is just another way to scam the old and vulnerable out of their money. They only give 2 wks notice of new scheme
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers - DO NOT USE. I parked at the one by the cinema in Bradford. I paid on Apple Pay and it pinged as though it went through - it was a ticketless machine so I did not get a ticket - so assumed I had paid. The machine was broken (it did not say it was broken) They fined me - I appealed - I sent it to the so called 'Independent appeals process' who rejected it (they are probably taking back handers) and now i owe £115 - Robbing greedy b******** - I will never ever use their car park again and I hope they go under
What a bunch of robbing bandits
What a bunch of robbing bandits, firstly i go stuck on one of there car parks due to the fact the person how was overseeing the car park let too many cars on so the car park became gridlocked and my other half had to tell the dum idiot to let cars off the car park so others could get on.
Secondly i appealed this and SIP said your appeal has failed so I paid the £60 fine on 30th Sept 24 then today 23/10/24 i have received a letter saying i owe £115.
This is shocking customer service as you cannot get hold of anyone to talk to
Unsafe - Car broken into at SIP car park, Manchester
I had my car broken into and the contents stolen. The organisation have shown no interest despite claiming to have cctv for security. I will not be using these car parks again and will make sure none of my friends or family do. These car parks do not appear to be safe.
Avoid these bandits
Their website says things like ‘respected’ & ‘trusted’.
That’s in their own words.
The judgement on such descriptions should be made by others, not self appointed compliments about their trustworthiness.
My friend has just been done by them. ……Visit the the parking meter, follow the instructions, add the car reg & parking time, then pay by using the credit card. SIMPLE or not !!!
No receipt or parking ticket is offered so no real proof it has gone through.
Next thing is a letter with a £100 fine.
When this was challenged by letter they simply were not interested, by paying in 14 days the fine is only £60.
If it’s a case of hard luck now pay us what chance do we have of challenging the system? None
When you call them up on the number provided you’ve got no chance of talking to anybody, they’re too busy or the option doesn’t exist.
This would appear to be a regular occurrence, the police aren’t interested, ‘it’s a civil matter’.
No sane person is going to go to a parking meter that says £100 fine and decide not to pay.
So my advice is treat them as simply bad news. Avoid them or risk been scammed for £100.
Quite cynically my guess is their ‘modus operandi’ by not offering receipts or parking tickets is a great mechanism for printing money & screwing people out of hard earned £’s.
More like CUP - Complicated Unintelligent Parking
I recently parked in the SIP PARKING car park by Crewe Railway Station. I was about to travel down to Sussex and back in a day to scatter my mother's ashes. I chose this car park because it's very close to the station and I was nervous about walking back to my car in the dark on a Saturday night.
I went to the pay machine and, following its instructions, I entered my car reg, chose to pay £6 for up to 24 hours of parking and used my bank debit card to pay. I was a bit perturbed when I noticed that although the transaction seemed to have finished, ie, no:
'Your transaction has failed. Please insert your card and enter your PIN',
I would not be getting a pay and display ticket and if I wanted a receipt, I would have to phone the company to get one. Sadly, I didn't do this because I didn't think I'd need to, and so when I received a letter less than a week later saying that I hadn't paid and needed to pay a fine, I had no way of proving that I had paid £6 with my card. I then checked my bank balance and could see that the money had not gone out. Was the machine faulty?
I then googled reviews for SIP Parking and was horrified that not only had others had similar problems but any appeals had been rejected. I contacted Citizens Advice who recommended that I appeal. I did but it was rejected. I have now paid a £60 fine - not because I was guilty but because, if I had made a second appeal to an independent body and failed again, I risked having to pay a larger fine of £100 or more. As others seemed to have failed with this, there didn't seem any point.
I have since reported SIP PARKING to the Crewe Chronicle and to Action Fraud. However, I would imagine they will have made sure that they cannot be convicted of breaking the law but they have made it very easy for you to fail, so that they can fine you.
Also, the car park is full of ruts and potholes, and when I went back there to take photos of their machine and ANPR camera, the entrance was completely flooded.
There's a much better car park next door. I wish I'd used that one...
DO NOT USE THESE CAR PARKS
Absolute scammers, after using the car park at castlemoor retail park to turn around in after dropping my daughter off at a concert and then again to pick her up later on they issued a fine and stated we parked there for 4 hours and 36 minutes. Appealed the fine as maximum stay is for 1 hour (we stayed less than 3 minutes each time) and sent photo evidence from my ring door bell of my car being on my drive between the hours they stated and they refused my appeal stating their IT department couldnt find the other entries and exits for my car to the car park. Unable to give a 0 star review
This company are absolute criminals and…
This company are absolute criminals and the company should be investigated for fraud and struck off I paid for parking in one of their car parks they then reversed the transaction so they could issue a £60 fine.
DO NOT under any circumstances use these car parks as they will scam you.
I have put a complaint in with companies house regarding this thieving company so hopeful they will be struck off the thieves.
If like me you have been scammed by this company reversing the transaction search for companies house complaints on google and choose the gov website investigations and enforcement and fill out the form and hopefully this criminal company will be struck off.

SIP Car Park Manchester Major…
SIP Car Park Manchester Major Street. There are no bins on the premises so I got a fine of £120 because I threw a cigarette on the ground where there was no bin i was looking for. That's how they make money from people who pay taxes, among other things for cleaning.People hide behind trees to record and steal money from customers by penalties.Sad
