The Technical backup
The Technical backup was excellent as I was struggling to print barcodes.
After sharing my screen I was talked through the procedure.

Excellent customer service
We have been using our Silver fox label printer for a number of years to produce cable ident tags. The product is fantastic. Its extremely easy to use and prints perfect idents every time, either as new tags or from an existing saved file.
On the few occasions we have had to contact the company the customer service has been first class - responsive, quick and very efficient. Excellent product, excellent team!

I reached out for support on how to create a specific label format and Miro W. responded back promptly to my request. He was excellent to deal with as there was some back and forth until I was able to do what I wanted to do. I highly recommend this software based on the support I have received from Miro.

Moving to a new computer did not start out good by myself so emailed SilverFox at 09:00. Got a response from Miro Wachulski at 09:20. We setup a Teams call at 9:45 and everything was up and running within 5 minutes. Excellent job and keep it up...

Miro fixed my problems!
I was having some issues with the printer so Miro gave me a technical lesson on how to setup the machine and print the labels we require! I was really impressed with the help Miro gave me and he spent time showing me a number of different useful ways to use the software for various bits of equipment I will need labels for.

New Software has Bugs!
Used silver Fox labels for many years with same software on a PC but had to upgrade to the latest software when upgraded PC. Problem after problem then arose and ended up discovering that the new software had a major bug in it (well at least 1 I know of)!
Miro did find it and offered a quick get-around fix but it seems apparent that the new software is not properly tested. Not impressed Silver Fox!

The software in question is a third-party solution we originally developed in 2011 for another company, along with a matching label range. The label templates you’re referring to were withdrawn by our client in 2018. When we introduced an updated software version in 2021, we chose to include these older, now obsolete templates to support customers who still rely on them, even though they were no longer required for the new software. This update included a range of changes, such as compatibility with Windows 11, support for 4K screens, a refreshed user interface, and functional improvements with help videos—all of which required significant additional work to adapt these legacy templates.
Bringing these older templates into the updated software came with certain limitations, as you noticed, such as the inability to select specific print lines or control line numbers on the older, withdrawn templates. We faced the choice of either omitting these templates entirely or bringing them forward with some reduced functionality. We opted to include them for continuity, even though some features would not be fully supported on these legacy templates.
We’ve also introduced various updates and developments over the last 13 years, all aimed at enhancing your labelling experience. When you reached out to us on 10 October, Miro was able to provide a quick modification to help address the specific limitations you encountered on the same day, and we followed up to ensure everything was running smoothly.
