My dog passed away
My dog passed away. I then hit unsubscribe from shot vet.
I am still receiving emails. It's bad enough that my dog died, and I am still getting emails that he is due for his shots.

Horrible. Complete lack of system or respecting appoints. Just a cattle call at the store. Ended up walking out. Avoid at all costs.
Signed up for the vaccine clinic at CVS in Pasadena, MD there were no signs, one one could tell me where to go to check in. just happened to see the van drive by and park on backside of store, walked over there was 1 girl checking people in, taking payments and giving vaccine. Completely disorganized and not safe for the that girl or your pet. I left and would not recommend this service.
It was a frustrating and complete waste of my time and gas. They advertised a clinic from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. We made an appointment online only for 5:30 and arrived shortly before only for it to be a first come first serve situation.
The prepay patrons were able to skip to the front despite arriving after us. Another patrons dog began aggressively barking at my dog which got him riled up and he began barking and trying to get to the other dog. I had to wrestle with my dog while I waited and by 6pm I decided that we would all be there much longer then 6:30pm. I had to be to work by 8pm and realized that we would not make it in time. I honestly was not even sure that the prices were lower than the other clinics that were offered however I can’t and won’t recommend this one.
I visited their mobile clinics. In the past they were fine. This last time the vet had a horrible personality and honestly didn't care to be there, like we were putting him out.
6 months later, I placed an order at their online pharmacy for my 2 dogs, (1/15/26) It took 2 weeks to get here, (arriving 1/29/26) and they only sent one prescription, but still charged me for both! It took them from 1/15 to 1/19 to make the USPS label and then until 1/27 to take it shipping. UGH!
I tried to go online and get help, their AI couldn't help and couldn't get a human to either. I called in and am currently sitting on hold for 53 minutes...and when I finally got a hold of their customer service she didn't acknowledge that I had been waiting that long and said she can't control how many ppl call before her. All she did was send a message to the pharmacy! I asked her if that was all she was going to do and she said she can't do anything else! Unbelievable!
BUYER BEWARE! Guess I'll be Chewy's newest customer.
Registration online & everything was in place when we arrived. I didn’t prepay. The staff was kind and efficient. Now our senior pet is set with her vaccination for another year!
I honestly lack words to describe how awful my experience with this company was. In May 2025, on Mother's Day, a stray cat that had befriended our intact male gave birth to four adorable kittens, two boys & two girls. After they had reached about 12-15 weeks old we learned that we were late vaccinating them & needed to begin their rounds of kitten vaccinations ASAP. After doing some searching I noticed there was a ShotVet event at our local PetSmart coming up in August 2025, and decided to pre-register & pre-pay to avoid waiting in line. The first event the scale was broken; they were just accepting whatever your best guess was. It was boiling hot outside and, knowing that kittens cannot cool down the same way dogs can on pavement, they allowed them to stay in the front of the vehicle with A/C. They didn't have their flea & tick medicine in the van, but assured me it would be shipped to me. I was instructed that I needed to return within a month for their second round of vaccinations, Kitten B-series.
Upon looking for the next ShotVet event, initially it looked as though for the entire month of September there was only one date available before their due date, the 6th--and it wasn't even in my state! I tentatively booked a slot, but the day of one of my kittens was sick. Thankfully I found another date that was *slightly* closer on the 13th. I booked it and prepaid my $420 in advance for 4 Kittens B-series vaccines because, again, with small kittens you CANNOT KEEP THEM OUTSIDE IN EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES, let alone ON THE PAVEMENT IN HIGH TEMPERATURES.
To put it mildly, my second experience with ShotVet thoroughly ENRAGED AND DISGUSTED ME.
Not wanting to have the kittens wait in line any longer than necessary on an 89°F day (felt like mid-90's with the high humidity), we showed up around 10 minutes after the event started to give a chance for other people who had prepaid to clear out. IMMEDIATELY it was nothing but bullshit and dismissal. We arrived and walked to the front to check in, since we had prepaid and were, by ShotVet's own definition allowed to "skip the line", but the woman doing the "work orders" didn't seem to understand the difference between people who had prepaid & people that were paying on the spot. The vets in the van gave precisely zero f**ks that we were supposed to be seen before others in the line that hadn't prepaid. To add insult to injury the vets had the kittens wait RIGHT BY THE VAN EXHAUST; they were annoyed when they started choking & we BEGGED to move them up front, but they didn't care.
We literally watched EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THAT LINE THAT HAD NOT PAID IN ADVANCE--ALL 18 OF THEM, EVEN A WOMAN WHO HAD CLEARLY JUST SHOWED UP AFTER US-- go before us because they were "DOGS, and it'll be really quick it's just so we don't have to change OUR SETUP just for YOUR KITTENS". The kittens were in so much distress that I was about to just demand my money back and leave, but the woman had already processed the work order--and then f***ed up the work order so one of my kittens, Moxxy, even though (I think, they closed the van and didn't say anything!) she received the full Kitten B series, on her ShotVet records it only shows she received ONE SHOT of the Kitten B and not the other --even though I obviously can't pay for one part of Kitten B and not the other one!! So, either I was scammed and she didn't receive it and I'm owed money, or she did and they've f***ed up her medical records--so much so that when it was time to get Kitten C, I couldn't bc her records are now incomplete, and guess what? THERE IS NO WAY TO TALK TO SHOTVET ONLINE TO FIX THEM!!
In the end, I paid $420 to have my kittens be DEAD LAST in line when they should have been first, all bc the vets were lazy & "didn't wanna change their setup just for four kittens to have to switch right back to dogs; YOU CAN WAIT IF YOU WANT". Being forced to stand next to that van in extremely high heat made the little babies extremely sick--it took them A WEEK to "recover" from being forced to stay in that heat on the pavement breathing in that exhaust!
I AM BEYOND ENRAGED. I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED. I've never dealt with this kind of complete and utter indifference in my effing life. It didn't help that we were the only non-African American ppl there, aside from one of the vet techs. If I'm being honest, basically we were made to feel like we were behaving like "entitled white people" for paying in advance & actively penalized for having done so by being forced to wait until we were last, along with actively harming my kittens by forcing them to sit next to that van exhaust. I'm SICKENED by ShotVet. I WANT MY $420 BACK, MY KITTENS RECORDS FIXED AND A PROFUSE APOLOGY. I want them to understand how utterly f***ed their behavior and indifference was. As it is, when you see negative reviews about this company? Trust me--they're 100% TRUE.
