If you don't leave in the Bay Area, don't bother to order from them.
- my first order, placed on August 30th regularly arrived September 7th;
- the second order placed on September the 7th, had to arrive on September 14th between 9:00am and 4:00pm. At 5:15pm I had to write because I didn't get anything. It was delivered later --they had no clue.
- the order placed on September 14th was delivered on September 21st within the right time frame.
- the order placed on September 21st was confirmed for today, September 28th, and nothing was delivered.
Their driver brought a bag that wasn't mine. I returned it right away, but there was no mismatch: he just didn't have my order.
I had to write --they don't have a phone number, apparently-- and after a back and forth, I was offered a full reimbursement and a 100$ off the next order, which I found insulting.
I live 20 minutes North of Sacramento, so they explicitly wrote they don't travel that far away to deliver meals. Then why are they selling up here?
I relied on their delivery for my lunches and dinners --all five working days of the week.
I didn't buy anything last weekend because of that. And I live in the country, so I can't just go down the street, to the store and get what I need --like I would be able to do in the Bay Area.
As I said, offering money was offensive. I am not sure where they got the notion that 100 Dollars would have made me happy. All I wanted was to get my meals --they could have offered to deliver them the day after, but they didn't --which says it all.
I had a gut feeling when I noticed there was no phone number to call. I was right.
