I felt like it was a scam....then 30 days to remove my info after cancelling? No. Do it now.

There are two good things about the shop app: easy purchase and delivery updates. Other than that, their customer NO SERVICE is designed to frustrate you into submission and make you give up.
Unfortunately, they are complicit with vendors in actually stealing from customers. REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT THEIR CUSTOMER AT LEAST AS THEY SEE IT.

Description below is from experience with Benson and Clark through the SHOP APP:

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with; they are thieves. I waited a month; the whole order never came in. Paid over $92.00 to return the order due to size. I only wish I had researched them more. Out about $600.00 with little to no response from them or, unfortunately, the Shop App, whose customer service is atrocious and designed to frustrate you into submission to giving up.

I recently placed an order with what I thought was Everstride Socks. Long story short, their website was somehow hacked and I placed an order with a scammer company. Everstride was very helpful helping to research this, but in the end this is what happened. I will no longer buy from any business that uses this app. They have no protections and frankly they don’t care. I don’t want these people having my personal information and credit card numbers! Now I have to fight with my bank to recover my money.

Aggressively overlays retailer's own checkout causing all kinds of issues if retailer hasn't enabled functions like Paypal pay-in-4 or discount codes in Shop app. Even signing out of it on all devices and deleting cookies doesn't stop this dog of an app from recognizing your E-Mail address and divert you to the app overlay to log in.
Horrible behavior, since it clearly is set up to protect its own ecosystem. For my most recent issue, I wanted to space some payments out on a big purchase. Seller definitely had Paypal pay-in-4. Shop App decided to log me in to itself and handle the transaction, without me realizing. Instead of redirecting to Paypal pay-in-4 as expected, the whole purchase ended up going through. Now in the process of cancelling the order, and hoping that goes through before the sale ends and the item is back to its usual retail price.

First of all this app is infested with scammers pulling all manner of "bait-and-switch" schemes on unsuspecting customers. But what I am reviewing here is that one of their sellers (some women's clothing store in Dallas, TX) is mailing me an item I never purchased and they are probably going to try and charge me for it when it is delivered: where I come from, that's called MAIL FRAUD. And they know it's fraud, because they can't seem to tell me what the item was or what dollar amount I paid for this item: in my last communication, they told me "contact the seller directly" but GUESS WHAT: THERE IS NO WAY TO DO THAT ON THEIR SHOP APP. They obviously want to be sued and that's what's going to happen to them and their parent company Shopify, Inc.

This APP has no customer service and when an issue arises with orders and companies the APP will then display a notice that it has no responsibility to orders, refunds, and complaints. It is a tracking APP only.
Perfect platform for scams and alike.

ok, I used the SHOP app a few times, no problem. 👍👍…… BUT…….
I used the SHOP app for payment of another product, all went through just fine. About 30 min later the company calls me and said they do not deliver, customers have to be pick up items. It’s not close to me so I said cancel order, the total was 80.00, they said SHOP charges 5.00 so I would have to go to SHOP for that. It’s 5.00: who cares but I did pay 80 not 75.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!! The costumer service contact is AI. GIVE ME A BREAK! You deal with something that you cannot reason with, I will not be getting my 5.00 back, I said I will never be using SHOP again, the enough answer from an AI agent said basically sorry you feel that way, is there anything else I can help you with……. UMmmmmmmm……..

There is no Customer Service at all. They tell you to contact the company when there’s a fraudulent charge.. you can’t talk to a live person and the company doesn’t exist. It’s a fraudulent company.

So all I could do is delete all my cards from there. Delete the app delete my account and keep checking my bank to make sure it doesn’t show up there.

They don’t give two squats about customers at all what a joke of an app they worse than PayPal if that’s even possible.

Shocking customer service especially for allowing many fraudulent companies scamming people on the app. They show zero care or concern. And allow these companies to continue on the app. On the app trying to report a company is pointless

They are terrible at customer service and continuously don’t refund items correctly even when the merchant provides proof they refunded correctly. They hoard their shop cash and don’t return it if an item is returned or refunded. And the customer service only has an email that doesn’t review evidence and only gives generic, scripted responses once a day with no follow up ever!
