Deirdre was a pleasure to deal with on the other end of the phone as well.

Run from O'Neill Sherry Fitz Bantry, especially Olivia Hanafin and Ray O'Neill. They are total crooks and wasted 7 months of our lives including E13K in expenses. They falsely advertise homes for sale and when you discover issues through surveys and inspections they act like they know nothing. Once we were no longer under sale agreed they put Slinneadoir in Glengarriff back on the market with the same issues knowing full well another victim will fall prey to their lies. Totally unprofessional, unreliable and crooked! There's better agents out there in the area you can trust. Don't let these cheats take you down a rabbit hole.

finally after a long wait i got my house sorted and i must say with the help of Linda in Gorey office it was a pleasure dealing with Linda so helpful and on the ball all the time and nothing was a problem for her ,top marks 10/10

We recently bought a new build in Longwood and, sadly, our experience with this agency was less than positive.

While the initial viewing and early stages were good, issues later arose around advertised details (such as HTB) which, in our view, should have been known by experienced agents. We were only made aware of these problems months after going sale agreed, which caused significant stress. Despite the house being nearly ready, we did not receive the keys until 13 months after going sale agreed.

Although much of this delay was due to the developer, communication from Sherry FitzGerald was so limited at times that we genuinely questioned whether they were still involved.

What stood out most was how the sale was concluded. The keys were simply slipped through the letterbox, no phone call, no acknowledgment, not even an automated “congratulations.” We sent a brief final email which was never answered.

When compared with the consistently positive experiences friends had with other agencies, this fell well short of expectations for a firm of Sherry FitzGerald’s size and reputation.

After such a long and stressful process, it left a very sour taste.
This experience was with Sherry FitzGerald Barry O’Flaherty, though from speaking with friends and forums/groups, similar issues appear to exist across different branches.

Horrible experience renting with them. I visited the apartment that had faulty balcony door, which they said would be fixed before I move in. It was not fixed, the house was extremely dirty with food residue in the fridge, many light bulbs not working (they fixed it after a week). Right now, more than 2 weeks after moving in, the balcony door is still not fixed. I’ll never rent with them again.

Just bought my new home back in Ireland after over 30 years abroad. The agent at Sherry Fitzgerald Gorey ( Linda Christopher) couldn’t have been more helpful. The process turned into a bit of an ordeal but Linda was there to help any time she could. So 5 Stars for service. That always came with a smile.

We are unfortunate to have tenants from Sherry Fitzgerald Galway City living in our estate. The tenants piled heavy duty domestic rubbish in a green area and when myself and the management company for our estate contacted Sherry Fitz they did nothing about it. From talking to them on the phone I got the impression they couldn’t care less. A storm came and the heavy duty rubbish was blown all over the estate. I wouldn’t use this auctioneer they were the last one left in the city. Shocking.
