LINE-X PUFF piece extremely inaccurate
Read the LINE-X article and found it was completely inaccurate in its data. As it claimed LINE-X still had over 500 franchise locations First they haven’t had that many in the last Decade before the franchise Exodus they had 425 and all their 20 corporate stores have since been sold off or shut down do to the massive losses they were taking on them. After the exodus of over 270 stores LINE-X only has 30 under the new contract and the remaining 100 are leaving monthly as their contracts end and the rest shutting down due to excessive over charging by LINE-X. The new business model is such a failure they released the President Blair Boggs in October of 2024 who was the architect of the new system and agreement. At this time 280 Franchises are represented by Michael Einbinder NY Lawfirm with over 20 active arbitrations that LINE-X refiuses to let be arbitrated. The once great system is no longer a system at all. This just scratches the surface of all the Inaccuracies in the article which are all easily found with any research.

Jim, thank you for reviewing the Line-X franchise profile we have on our website. 2 important things here:
(1) I think you missed that the locations, as clearly explained in our piece, are US and Canada ("worldwide"). For example, Line-X did have 549 locations in total across US and Canada in the beginning of 2022, hence more than 500. As with everything online, I would kindly advise you to pay close(r) attention at the fine print, including footnotes, to make sure you do understand what you read and not falsely blame it as "puff" or "extremely inaccurate" 😉
(2) The piece was updated as of the 2023 FDD (and not 2024, yet) - as explained again in the footnotes. You are right, the franchise did lose 143 franchisees down to 275 at the end of the year 2023. And allegedly about 200 in total as of today (Q4 2024).
