This zippered bag goes around the waist. I do not like the fabrics used. The colors do not look good together, the style looks very sloppy and I don't like this item. It is not my style.
I will make it and give it to someone. This is my opinion. Thank you.

Thank you for your review! We do know that not all colors/fabric prints/projects are the perfect fit for every person's style. However, this cross-body bag turned out to be a super popular project--so I am sure that whoever you end up gifting it to will absolutely love it.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Cross-body bags (aka fanny packs) have made a huge comeback recently. Also, many sewing club members have adored this project--so you may be surprised at how much someone would love this as a gift. We do hope that you are able to share the gift of handmade with someone through the gifting of this item.

I like that it was a different type of project - something you may not typically see (cross body bag). Personally, though, it's not something I would use (it also looks pretty small for that type of bag). I also didn't care for the fabric design (floral), but that's personal preference. I did, however, really like the type of fabric (canvas) - the weight makes for a nice sturdy project.

The end of the project bit it, but redemption on further projects.
The end of the project. Folding the Fanny pack and sewing through the thick layers was messy looking at the last step.
Edit: To be honest, the more you make them, the nicer the last step looks from the first one. Giving credit where it’s due. Love the pattern

Every month learning experience
I love this box. Every month I'm learning new things about sewing and that is for me, awesome.
Like the video instructions, helps me A LOT to understand what I need to do to be successful with my proyect.
Love the fabrics and materials. It is wonderful to know that every month I will receive a sewing proyect to do that have everything that I need to do something really cute and usefully.

Not worth the price
I don’t believe this to be a good value. Some of the instructions are confusing. I’m an experienced seamstress and rarely find projects I can’t complete, but the visor organizer was confusing and is not completed.

A Box Of Joy
This is just a box of joy delivered to my mailbox! My first Sew What Box was a delight to make with easy written instructions and a visual tutorial available on-line. I love everything about this subscription from the cute box, to the lovely fabric, thread provided and even a new sewing needle! Customer service is awesome too!

Simple Storage Baskets
This project was so quick and easy. I really enjoyed making these baskets. I also appreciate that the pattern is available as a PDF for future use.

This was my first box
This was my first box. The fabric is all lovely. I look forward to making the fabric boxes. Have not had a chance yet due to hand surgery. But as soon as I'm heal up I'm going to be making them. And probably others. I'm thinking great gifts for Christmas.

Good for a beginner
As a beginner when it comes to all that is sewing, I signed up for these boxes to try different things. This was my 1st box and the instructions were easy to follow and I think that the project turned out pretty good.
