Calling around to check stores for a 5060qdc, luckily found this store with one that hadn't been collected! Made my order, received my machine within 5 days. We are getting to know each other!

I got the best service ever, I would recommend this company big time. Did a fantastic job fixing my sewing machine and didn't have to wait to long either and I actually learn a few things that I wasn't aware the machine did. Very pleasant staff too, will be going back every year to have the machine service.

I was impressed by the amazing service when I bought my Bernina machine and overlocker last year. This year I needed a part to be fitted and also a small repair. Despite it being their busiest time with school machines to service, Tony found time to look at my machine and it was all sorted in the time it took for me to have a cup of tea! Really impressed as I didn’t want to be without my machine. Highly recommended.

Popped into SEWINGMACHINESUK just to explore and try out some overlockers. Tony was extremely helpful. Pulled out several machines to demo. Answered all my queries with patience. No pressure to purchase anything. Free parking in front too so no fretting about parking fees.

After searching the web, I was fortunate to come across this very helpful company. They responded quickly to emails and telephone manner was polite and knowledgeable regarding their products. Machine was well packed, kept up to date regarding dispatch.

Simply couldn’t fault their service. Ordered on Tuesday delivered personally by Tony the following morning, taken upstairs, unpacked, lifted onto table and helped fill in the guarantee certificate. Amazing. Would I recommend them, absolutely.

This company are such a refereshing change. The team we met in the shop were knowledgeable, friendly and could not have been more accomodating. We took up at least a couple of hours trying to make our minds up about which 'deal' we wanted to go for but there was no 'hard sell', no pressure to 'make our minds up' They are all very knowledgable which really helped us to understand 'exactly' what we were getting. They even made the dog welcome, honestly, it was such a nice' shopping experience'. If you are in the market for sewing related 'stuff' youve got to check them out.

Since my original post, Tony at Sewing Machines UK has made every effort to make contact with me to sort out the issue and we are satisfied that my machine was returned several weeks to the shop. Whilst he has apologised on their behalf, I do feel it was not their error but an admin issue at the shop.

I am happy to be reunited with my machine and thanks to Tony for reassuring me and sorting out the issue for me.

I wanted a heavy duty machine, the 4423 is good,even though I have broken so many needles.
I purchased this one on the promises it would handle thick fabrics or leatherette. On this challenge I would of perfered extra stability,as the machine moves while sewing on the surface .
On a whole all the trimmings and add-ons was a great bonus,eg spear foots & especially the mini Ironing board.
The real test of a good heavy duty machine, is how it handles use of various foots and button holes on thick fabrics .So far low pile coats are great for the task on the 4423.
I wish the selection of foot package was label, as I am unsure about a few of them.
I may have to research others machines as this model hasn't got enough options on stitches or embroidery features.
I am happy with Singer Machines.
