I called to try to find someone to talk to and help me with my issues. Someone named Robbie answered my calls and told me there were no therapists or anything he can do to help me reach out to anyone, I hung up and then called back and hoped me leaving a review would help the company in widening their helpfulness and their resources to help people out. All I got were extremely disrespectful answers and declined calls. I called back multiple times for the same person to answer as someone named Tyler as if they didn’t have the same voice and vocal tone as before. If this is a company trying to help people god save us all.

This place took my Mum's $24K for my brother to be there a month but when he was unhappy & decided to check himself out they didn't bother to contact us & let us help him get home... He'd forgotten his wallet & phone when leaving home but didn't realize it until after we'd driven 3 Hours South... They took my 63 year old desheveled brother to LAX & just dumped him off!!! He's had a Stroke & Brain Injury, needs to take meds, & is generally quite unsteady on his feet... Without a phone we were unable to contact him & with the brain injury he couldn't recall family phone numbers!!! We reported him Missing, & contacted Hospitals, Law Enforcement, & the Media hoping to find him!!! When the Sheriff asked for X-ray & Dental records, we knew they'd use them to identify him from an unidentified body!!! My sister & brother-in-law went to LA & were scouring the Homeless Encampments near LAX... We were terrified!!! Eventually he did make it home, after 5 days... For that "Care" Serenity Lodge charged us $1,000/day... He'd checked in Friday & walked out early Tuesday morning... Not much happens on the 1st Weekend, so he essentially had 1 Day, Monday, for which they charged us $5K!!! (*They counted Tuesday, although he left at 8:30am!!!) And despite having my Mum's $24K, they didn't even send him off with a lunch, or help in getting a Bus Ticket home!!! Terrible Decision Making by the "Onsite Management Team!!!" GREEDY UNSCRUPULOUS Business Practices!!!!

This place doesn’t let you make the choice to stay on sub maintenance for opiates .. they cut you off after like 4-5days being on em . They make you program just by looking at you determining how “sick” you are . So basically they will make you go to classes after a day or two if you’re not looking sick 🤦🏽‍♂️ So basically they make people who feel HORRIBLE coming off alcohol or drugs go to classes from 9am-330pm on your first couple days there . NO PHONE only phone calls thru your case manager on a landline while they sit there . The Dr.s do not go by what you tell them they tell YOU what’s works for YOU not the other way around which is crazy.. also BEWARE of financial things talk to them and YOUR INSURANCE thoroughly before just trusting them . Over the phone they said if I did have a bill it wouldn’t go to Collections and to not worry about a thing that money wasn’t a big deal to them that if I did have a bill that I could pay in payments but he assured me it would never go to collections EVER in case ish hit the fan. When I got to the facility the guy was instantly like hey just remember if you can’t pay the bill in payments just remember DO NOT ignore collection calls DO NOT ignore them and they’ll give you time until you get back on your feet . (Great to hear while you’re feeling like ish thinking you didn’t have anything to worry about now you have another problem besides your addiction to worry about) . This place is Borderline (actually not borderline) they are breaking laws (false advertisement) and just flat out lies about financials .

I have tried plenty of programs on my road to recovery and none were effective. Serenity Lodge changed everything. People actually cared about my health and progress there. I felt part of their family. I am still sober since leaving and could not be more grateful. Thank you!!!

Serenity lodge saved my husband’s life and gave our kids their father back. He had tried so many other facilities and several failed attempts. This last stay a year ago at serenity lodge did the trick. The staff is like no other - caring, professional, unique. I would recommend this facility to any man who is ready to get sober - serenity lodge will change their life.

I chose the facility at random and was told I made a great decision. My experience there proved I did actually make the right one. The staff is great, the facility clean and comfortable, and the brotherhood vibe is real. Even six months later I'm still participating in alumni functions that are contributing to my grateful sobriety. If you can go, DO IT, it will be the best decision you'll make. And if sobriety is what you seek, and you're not afraid of some hard work, you will be truly blessed.

Communication needs to be better and it was pretty demoralizing to be asked to wash the staff's cars, however it's still a 5/5 for me I enjoyed my treatment.

My experience in recovery at Serenity lodge was 2nd to none and it has helped me get through life my most recent new life a lot better makes me think about things a lot better more clearly the councilors are the best Riley Kenny oh my God there's so many of them to mention it's so hard maliya Catherine Gabriel everybody there Mike I can't think of all their names but I would highly recommend Serenity lodge and I have to a couple of buddies that I believe could benefit from the program and I just want to thank you all the staff members everybody there that struggling and trying to get their life straight I hope and pray for them and thank you again for everything

Overall a great experience. For the most part the staff truly cares and wants to see you do better. A few of the staff really go above and beyond. For example Kenny, Timmy and Riley. My case manager was really my only complaint, her name is Catherine, I felt like she could've put forth more effort, she spent about 80% of our session time telling me about her weekend or stuff going on in her life. I did all the homework she asked me to do from the front of our book, spent hours answering some questions and she simply just asked me if I had done them where as other case managers reviewed the answers with their clients..Aside from that when I had to bring an issue to her or ask to use my phone to pay a bill or anything at all she had no problem letting you know that you was a bourdon to her at that moment in time. Moving forward the housing is great and the food is hit or miss. Hit more times than miss for sure though. Overall I had a good time and met some incredible people there. Make the best of your experience there and pay attention in class, some of the information is invaluable. Don't do as I did, if you are unhappy with someone such as case manager, therapist, etc. Let someone know. They will help you. Unfortunately in the end I had a half ass coin out and didn't even receive a certificate due to my case manager. These things can really impact soemones experience! Good luck if you're thinking of going don't think twice just do it.

First of all what a beautiful place. Nestled away in the mountains of Southern California. This facility contains a music studio, swimming pool and an incredible gym that can be used on weekends and after daily classes. The gym actually opened early before breakfast for a morning workout. I thought the food was great but you will never please everyone in this area.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The case workers and therapists are top notch and are very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. The days here are busy and filled with classes and meetings. I had an incredible experience here that changed my life.
