Bombarded by calls and emails
I made an inquiry last year in November and I have been bombarded with calls and emails ever since even though I have told the caller several times I no longer need a care home for my father-in-law. I’ve told them I don’t want to go into detail and it’s very sensitive and to not contact me again and to remove my information but each time they call me from a different number.
I would definitely not recommend to anybody I know to use this company.

Joey was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was incredibly caring, professional and understanding, and made what was a very difficult and stressful process so much easier. I can only say that Sonia Thomas was the most caring and helpful person re my query about a residential home for my friend . I felt that there was no length to which Sonia would not go to assist ,re my query. In fact I have had several emails from residential homes, all offering accomodation. However Pauline has decided to remain in her own home for now, realising it is such a big step.My comfort is to know that you are there and I can contact you again should the need arise. Terrible company
Terrible company. They bombard you with phone calls and pester you daily, despite being repeatedly told that their services are not required. They made what is already a stressful period 100 times worse!!

make possible what Portsmouth City Council and 2 social workers didn't manage in 8 months.
Which was to find a nursing home that would take both my parents for 8 weeks, whilst work is done on the house, to make it wheelchair accessible for mum and get a single bed downstairs for dad.

Harrassing 'hard sell' style
Harrassing 'hard sell' style. I can't seem to stop them calling me... even tho I've emailed, unsubscribed and replied STOP to counless text messages ... still they come. For this alone i'd rate them like a hard force sales team. I used another similar service and they were excellent and respectful and I found a care home through them.
I can't shake these people weeks after I signed up and now my parent has died i don't know what it will take to get them off our backs!

I am adding a second review due to the fact that I have updated this company on three separate occasions to advise that my relative has passed away, but am still receiving calls and emails. I left a review after the first update went unnoticed & hoped that when that review had a response from ‘Joey’ that it would be the end. However, having received numerous more calls and emails, I am not removing my first review as requested & am instead adding a new review to show that this harassment is persisting.

SHP ignore replies and continued harassment
I made an enquiry to SHP in December 2023, but my mother decided to go home rather than go into a home. For 3 months, I received texts asking me for an update, but after advising the position again, the texts stopped. In January 2026 they texted me again . I advised that my mother passed away on 5 January 2026. Since then I have received 13 more texts asking me if I had managed to find a home. I have sent 5 replies, but still SHP keep texting me. At what is an upsetting time I find the harassment from SHP appalling, but I cannot get them to stop.

Fantastic service
I wasn’t sure what the service was when I started; the process of finding care is overwhelming but I was so grateful for the help. Hannah D. Called me, asked me about my situation and dads needs and recommended 3 care homes. She also looked up homes I had been researching myself to give me more information.
I would not have thought to look at one she recommended as I thought it would be out of our price reach. I am so grateful for her recommendation: the home is the best I viewed and they agreed to our price. I am now in the process of securing a placement. Hannah called me back multiple times to see how I was getting on and if I needed anymore help. Fantastic service, can’t thank you enough Hannah.
