I am with alarm Company, which has a contract with Securitas. Someone’s set a fire work off in my house. Opened my door.And set it off. I pressed my fire panic button and even when there was smoke to be seen on the camera. They didn’t even call the fire service. They sent out a guard. By the time a guard arrived the fire service had been here an hour. So I’m disappointed that they didn’t send the fire service direct

Securitas do not want customers!
For 25 Years my home alarm system and security has been handled by a fabulous local security company. This local company was bought by the Securitas Group about one year ago.
last week I sent an email to advise them that I am moving house in 3 weeks time. Their response was, ‘As you have not complied with our terms and conditions of contract we are charging you an early cancellation fee’
If would expect a response saying something like ‘Thanks for being a loyal customer for 25 years, we certainly hope that we can provide you with a similar service at you new home and maybe we can offer our services to the folks who are moving into your home’ Strange company which is clearly best avoided as they clearly do not want customers!

Very unprofessional! especially night staff who are loud on their phones! Kept few residence awake most nights! Have complain to head office who said their manager will be in contact, this was a month ago! Terrible service!

I worked for them for near on a year. The amount of cheating going on is absolutely annoying. Alarms do not get answered. Patrols do not get done. Any problems you tell them about are sat on by either the day supervisors or are totally ignored by management. They bill for patrols and alarms never done. This can go on for weeks and when sombody queries it they get 5 lots of free patrols or a refund on a alarm.
They currently patrol Sussex,kent,southampton. This all comes under one manager who lives in southampton and has no clue what the roads are like in Kent or Hastings. Pay is on time every month but is always short. Vehicle conditions are dangerous. Keys are always kept in vans with a broken safe lock. The vans although are suppose to be secure are not. This branch breaches every bit of guidance laid down by the SIA. The clients are non the wiser. There are serious problems. I would say one if the reasons bhs went down was because this company was taking their out of hours delivery for them uk wide . Like they are still taking deliveries for the arcadia group. Upto two full hgvs worth of goods to be delivered up stairs etc in bluewater per delivery.Again nationwide. Day shift have nothing to do apart from go down the bookies during the day or go home and work from there. They are very good at ousting you. They do not want you to be confident in what you do. They deny you holiday pay. They avoid any injury complaints. Never investigate them. If you moan you are out. Lots of things. Ganging up is common. One driver who is being persued by the insolvency service is still working for them. Another driver is on insulin for type 1 diabetes and still drives despite being told by his doctor to declare it to dvla. Regional manager also aware of this but turning a blind eye to it. Lots of other things. Best part is nobody gives a damm about it. Current national contracts include : Travis perkins group ltd, James villa holidays part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals , Bovis homes Southern, Hastings council. I would not employ them. They are total scammers.
