As one of the UK’s top independent wine merchants we are constantly updating our portfolio, always on the lookout for something a little different that may not be available elsewhere and we have become expert in sourcing quality, unique and rare products - often directly from the suppliers. Bought a bottle of Whispering Angel for a birthday present. Came within the time frame. Well packaged and the bottle was lovely. I had it engraved although not sure it was engraved more labeled and the writing wasn’t has big as it looked on the website and was a bit hard to see. Otherwise it looked lovely. I would definitely use the the site again, if fact I’m already looking for xmas

We're delighted to hear that your Whispering Angel arrived within the expected timeframe, was well packaged and made a lovely birthday present. It's also wonderful to hear you're already looking at Secret Bottle Shop for Christmas!
We're sorry the personalisation wasn't quite what you expected. We want our personalised bottles to look special, so we're disappointed that the lettering appeared smaller and less visible than you anticipated from the website. All our engravings are done in house by our expert team. If you could kindly provide images of the bottle you have received so our team can look into this at sales@saxtyswines.co.uk

Had the best evening at Social Sips Tasting on Friday. Fantastic Champagne, Wine and Whiskey accompanied by a beautiful selection of meats and cheeses and other nibbles. The venue it was held in was beautifully set out and the speaker from Pol Roger did an excellent job, she kept the evening light hearted and fun whilst explaining the history etc of what we were tasting. Also met some wonderful people at the evening and we all went for a drink together after. One of the best tasting evenings I’ve been too, but I wouldn’t expect anything else from Secret Bottle Shop thank you again guys for a memorable evening

Thank you so much for such a fantastic review. It really means a lot to the whole team.
We're delighted you had such a great evening at our Social Sips Tasting. We put a lot of thought into making these events relaxed, informative and enjoyable, so it's brilliant to hear that the Champagne, wine and whisky, along with the selection of meats, cheeses and nibbles, all came together to create a memorable evening.
We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to our speaker from Pol Roger. Keeping the evening informative while still light hearted and fun is exactly what we want from our tastings, and it sounds like she got the balance just right.
It's also fantastic to hear that you met some great people and continued the evening together afterwards. That's one of the things we love most about Social Sips, bringing people together over good drinks and good food.
Thank you again for your wonderful support and for trusting Secret Bottle Shop to deliver an evening worth remembering. We look forward to raising another glass with you at a future Social Sips!

We know important clear communication is when purchasing online so we try and give as much detail as possible. Especially for a pre-order item to ensure accurate expectations. So glad to hear the parcel arrived the next day after arrival and we hope you enjoy your order.
Benjamin was very helpful in arranging…
Benjamin was very helpful in arranging my order . Sadly the package was wrongly addressed to the wrong person but correct residence. This caused great confusion and the bottle almost was turned away until I intervened and explained the error . I don't know if the mistake was at the bottle shop or Royal Mail

I am sorry to hear there was an issue with the recipients address, I am not entirely sure what has happened here as the name given was added to the order so perhaps a Royal Mail issue. I am glad to hear the bottle arrived safety.
Great service from beginning to end.
I came across this independent shop whilst searching for a limited edition whisky that was available on pre-order. The ordering process was simple and I found the prices were great value.
I was kept fully informed of despatch arrangements and once in stock the item was sent quickly. Really great service from beginning to end. Many thanks.
