I have been diving with Scuba Total Cancun since 2017, and every experience with them has been nothing short of outstanding. Their customer service is top-notch, and communication is always excellent.

Over the years, I’ve taken several courses with them, including Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and most recently, my Dive Master Certification. Throughout my journey, Aldo and Gaby—along with their incredible staff—have treated me with kindness and professionalism. They go above and beyond to ensure every dive is safe, educational, and fun.

One of the highlights of my training was staying at their accommodations, which was incredibly convenient. Having access to a pool made my training sessions much easier, allowing me to practice without needing to travel far.

The entire team at Scuba Total Cancun is highly knowledgeable about the area and truly fantastic teachers and dive leaders. Their equipment is always in excellent condition, and they ensure that every experience is safe, well-organized, and enjoyable.

I have so many exciting stories from my dives with them, but one that stands out was drift diving with Fabio and witnessing a shark hunt and eat a fish right before my eyes. It was an unforgettable moment, and just one of the many incredible experiences I’ve had with this team.

What a day..what an experience !!! If you’re a beginner, a novice, a first time diver like me…BOOK HERE !!!!!Aldo and his team will take you and make your day a memory that you will never forget. Tanto Gaby como Aldo son impecables, más allá de la excursión, super puntuales, super atentos, te brindan no solo el equipo, sino también absoluta contención, se esmeran por hacer que la actividad sea realmente única, vimos peces, corales, estatuas hundidas, manta rayas, tortugas marinas, un tiburon, miles de peces de volores, un pez globo, me sentia dentro de la pelicula La Sirenita! Truly an unforgettable adventure! From the outer reef dives to the cavern dive, I was blown away by the experience! The dive guides have such an awesome energy and made the experience very enjoyable!

Listen, I did an INSANE amount of research for all the dive centres in Cancun and Mexico in general and I do not regret choosing Scuba Total for a second.

My husband and I had an amazing experience starting with communication which was very quick/friendly/efficient via whatsapp, to our two AMAZING diving instructors Aldo and Raf, to the BREATHTAKING sights we saw.

We started with 2 cenotes dives with Raf, who made us comfortable, got us yummy snacks, there were bathrooms and showers and all v. Clean!

The cenotes… I still have dreams about them. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.

Raf taught us so much about Mexico, about the culture, the language. Just a true amazing guide under and above water.

Then the next day Cozumel drift reef dive and ship wreck dive + bull shark dive at the end of the day! The boat, the team, the vibes, EVERYTHING to our comfort and happiness.

btw. The bull shark experience was super safe and comfortable especially with Aldo.

Aldo, our instructor, is wonderful and kind and changed so many things to our comfort. Getting to know him was our pleasure.

All in all, WONDERFUL service.

Great team to dive with. They are on time and very professional with great rates. This is my 4th time diving with them over past 6 years and I took 3 friends for discover scuba and they loved it and felt very comfortable with the instructor Aldo. Always my go to diving in Cancun!

Aldo was very attuned to our needs. As a first timer I felt very safe as he was watching out for us continuously. I was more needy than the rest of my group. ..older, chubbier and my ears wouldn't pop. He didn't make me feel stupid or slow and was just attentive enough to make sure I was safe but let us have a great time

I would recommend, got my certification in less then 2 days! lots of 1 on 1 attention and learned allot. I feel prepared and ready for my next dive.

Aldo, our Dive Master was incredible! His love for the ocean and his desire to ensure you have an amazing interaction with it knows no bounds! Hello fellow Divers, I don't leave many reviews but I promised Gabby and Aldo that I would let the rest of the world know more about the "BEST" Dive Co. in Cancun. I have tried several other dive shops in the Cancun area (mostly with disappointment). In 2018 I stumbled across Gabby and Scuba Total online and we emailed back and forth about an upcoming trip I had planned. I was amazed by the prompt and friendly responses I got so I gave them a try, and one try was all it took for me to be a lifetime customer. Over the years since then I have had over 27 single tank dives with Scuba Total. Every dive has been amazing and memorable, memories that I cherish. I consider Gabby and Aldo and Rafa to be my friends, we have had so many great dives, I don't know where to start. I would recommend doing the Cozumel trip if you can (with the bull sharks in November-amazing!) Also the outer reefs of Cancun are second to none and so full of life. I always do at least one day of the Cenote dives with Rafa (we are always the first ones at the dive site) almost a religious experience for me. I would 100% recommend this group friendly folks to any diver of any skill level. They are true professionals who care about their client’s safety and their diving enjoyment. Can't wait for my next trip!

Great experience all around. Gaby and Fabio were great. Fabio was an excellent instructor and made our dives safe, comfortable and fun. We went as a family with two kids ages 13 and 10. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing dive company. They were responsive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We did three dives with scuba total. One MUSA dive with Carla and two cavern dives with Rafael. The dives were so fun, especially with the help of our divemasters. Antonio was on the boat with us for our MUSA dive as well as our our cavern dive trip, he was also very helpful and friendly. The biggest star of the show is Gabby, who dealt with communication from the beginning of our planning this trip. She got back to us so quickly with every question we had and accommodated all of our needs.
