I was not your usual student. I am in my late 60's and wanted to do GCSE Physics having failed the O level back in the last century.
Mir was good at assessing my weaknesses and strengths and feeding me the sort of support I needed.
And I passed...at last...only fifty years later than I should!

I will not make this long for anyone reading this. I was tutored by Mir Hashemi for around 1 year in which I saw my grades leap more than what I had expected myself. Within 1 year my grades jumped from an C to an A. When I say he is by far the best teacher I have had the privilege of learning under, I truly mean it.

Delighted with our son’s A-level Chemistry grade that saw him make his offer to study at Durham Uni. I have recommended Mir to a number of friends. His explanations were clear and he was excellent at structuring lessons on the spot without notice to tackle weak points. He did a great job of adapting lessons and content for individual students.

Mir has provided excellent chemistry tuition for my son during his 2 year A level course. This took the form of group sessions as well as one to one sessions all delivered virtually which worked really well. Mir couldn’t have shown more commitment to his students. His input definitely made a difference to my sons learning and ultimately to his grade and opportunity for a good university place.

Mir engaged both of our boys over the past year and a half. Their both achieved significantly improved results in their Science GCSE’s (8,8,7) and Chemistry A-level’s (A) than originally expected.
They enjoyed their sessions and gained a lot of confidence through the process.

Mir promised to improve my son’s GCSE results by 2 grades as he moved up mid year from the Foundation level and that’s exactly what he did.
He managed to make the classes consistently interesting for a reluctant student such that my son began to look forward to each session.

Enthusiastic teacher who engaged my son and made the online tutorials fun too whether on one to one or group sessions. My son’s understanding of all the sciences dramatically increased and he was rewarded by getting fabulous GCSE results this summer despite the covid upsets and exam board’s misinformation. Without Mir's structured approach and capable instruction, my daughter would not have achieved the grade she did on her chemistry A-level. The teaching at her sixth form was lacklustre, and Mir very quickly helped her focus on the key areas as well as her weak points. An excellent tutor and one I've already recommended to others.
