This is a scam company.

First I bought Apple Silicon instance
IT NEVER WORKED and i asked for cancellation because i was losing time with chat bouncing back a solution that can't and didn't work.

Now I am harassed by debt collectors because I won't pay for a product that I didn't use.

You know how you feel when you're forced to pay for something you are not EVEN USING.

I PAID IT, now die and leave me alone.

i have from last 4 years 10 dedicate server and now in one day 5 server working stop and i compalint with them after a whilke they stop responed there also and i am aksing them just give me ftp access to take my data now is more than 3 days but i did not get anything. stay away from them

Je suis extrêmement déçu par les services de Scaleway, en particulier le support technique qui laisse à désirer. Mon serveur, qui héberge des sites Web critiques pour mes clients, a rencontré un problème matériel (barrette de mémoire défectueuse). Malgré plusieurs demandes, Scaleway n'a pas été capable de fournir une solution adéquate ou rapide.

Leurs engagements contractuels de disponibilité et de réparation matérielle n'ont pas été respectés. J'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises des solutions (désactiver la RAM défectueuse, transférer les disques sur un autre serveur), mais ces demandes sont restées sans réponse. Résultat : des pannes prolongées, des données perdues, et un impact financier direct pour mes clients, qui ont dû réencoder manuellement des données perdues.

La communication et la réactivité de Scaleway sont tout simplement inadmissibles. Je ne recommande pas cette société pour des projets critiques nécessitant de la fiabilité.

Il faudrait refaire votre slogan : "Si vous voulez perdre vos données, faites-nous confiance !"

Just another hosting company putting up servers for hosting scammers. Abuse complaints are a joke. they make you fill out a complicated form that breaks each time you try to submit it. Email address bounces with a fill out this form, instead of just addressing the abuse complaint.

Have an account there for years, I was not using the service any more... they added an empty buckets and invoice me 2x 5€ I was not the one who added the empty! bucket, support refuse to cancel the invoice.

When you want to delete your resources, they start to ask about verification of your profile. And they keep you charging

Horrible company, I keep getting charged and I dont even know why, i cant ping domains all requests time out, been waiting for my refund for 7 days while they keep milking my money and their support never replies, this is PURE FRAUD. STAY AWAY.

Es terrible esta empresa de servicios de alojamiento, te hacen pasar por un proceso de KYC en el cual no sabes si tus datos personales están a salvo. Luego te hacen pagar primero el servidor para después bloquearlo y decirles específicamente que vas a hospedar, url de tus webs etc etc. Falta que me reembolsen mi dinero.

Absolutely terrible experience. After you already verified your payment method and set up servers, they require KYC. Also they require too much information, unlike any other server provider, bank account details, IDs, selfies, codes from bank statements, very fishy.

Très mauvaise expérience.
Je paie pour un service auquel je n'arrive pas à me connecter ou qui ne fonctionne pas malgré avoir suivi scrupuleusement les indications.
Le support m'a vaguement répondu que de leur côté tout semble ok et m'a renvoyé vers une page de documentation qui génère une erreur 404.
Puis plus rien toute la journée. Ok je suis sur un support de base par ticket mais le service est facturé à l'heure et ne fonctionne pas.

Du coup j'ai utilisé à la place flow.swiss, c'est un peu plus cher mais ça a fonctionné du premier coup sans difficulté. La documentation est bien précise, et l'interface est très bien construite. Tout est clair et ça marche.

En bref allez plutôt voir flowswiss et laissez tomber scaleway.

Je suis extrêmement déçu par le service client de cette entreprise. Après avoir acheté un serveur dédié "Elastic Metal EM-L101X-SATA" le 8 février 2024, j'ai immédiatement rencontré des problèmes d'accès au serveur et au KVM, rendant le service inutilisable. Malgré plusieurs échanges avec le support, et après avoir suivi leurs conseils d'annuler le serveur et de commander un nouveau, je n'ai toujours pas été remboursé des montants dus. J'ai du effectuer une litige bancaire pour obtenir dédommagement, et après gain de celui-ci ils osent m'envoyer une lettre de recouvrement. J'irais jusqu'au bout de la procédure juridique pour laquelle vous êtes en tord, ne vous inquiétez pas !

Je suis consterné par le manque de professionnalisme et de réactivité. Aucun remboursement n'a été effectué malgré mes nombreuses relances et démarches. Je ne recommande absolument pas cette entreprise. Si vous rencontrez des problèmes, n'attendez pas une résolution rapide ou efficace de leur part.

Une migration de online.net vers scaleway.com catastrophique (4 jours sans messagerie).
Une shrinkflation avérée, on passe de mailboxes à 12 GO sur online.net à 5 GO sur scaleway.com. L'espace mail est compris dans le package hébergement, donc si 2 mailboxes à 5 GO, pas la peine d'essayer les autres services (ftp ou wordpress), vous allez être obligé d'upgrader l'offre qui est déjà plus chère dès la migration effectuée.
Toutes ces déconvenues arrivent APRES migration, la migration n'est bien entendue pas "vendue" en mettant ces critères en avant.
Si la note 0 était possible, c'est ce que je mettrais.

Répondre aux tickets des clients par des reproches, du jamais vu depuis aue je suis client (2015 si l'on compte Online.net) Un système de ticketing sans la possibilité de mettre une simple capture d'écran et un migration de Online vers Scaleway catastrophique ... il faut réagir. c'est dommage de gâcher cette belle relation client en si peu de temps ....

I'm leaving this review literally a few minutes after signing up to Scaleway.

I have been benchmarking dozens of Postgres managed database providers and I can confidently say Scaleway comes on top.

The UI/UX is really great, the dashboard easy to navigate and the configurability is perfect with various options. The onboarding experience was among the best if not the best I have had as a non-technical user.

The pricing is greatin that it gradually scales and makes it affordable to help with early projects. It's transparent, and it's great that it also gives various speed/capacity options for storage separately from compute. I just wish it truly scaled to zero during times of inactivity, which would have allowed it to be truly billed by the minute for example - it's not the case with Scaleway, you provision an instance and it runs 24/7 which means you pay for it at all times.

Performance-wise, I tested one of the smallest instances (DB-PLAY2-PICO at 1vCPU, 2GB RAM) and it was blazing-fast when compared to other managed database providers with a similar capacity.

I rarely put reviews online but given the reviews I saw here and the amazing experience I've had so far I am doing so and encouraging everyone to give Scaleway a try.

Great job to their product & engineering teams and I look forward to the rest of my experience using their services.

Hey @Scaleway, we've been unable to access our dashboard and server for 3 months. We've tried reaching out multiple times with no response. What's the best way to get in touch?

Be cautious of hidden costs with Scaleway! Even tho it looks like you buy hours of service that's false! They will invoice you for the month if you dont cancell even if you only placed 5 hours for example!

They are pure scammers dont waste a single € here!
