Terrible company to work for ! I wasted over a decade with this company and for what ? To be forced out ! I was basically forced to work with a terrible team leader ! And after all the years and experience I have they couldn't put me on another team ! But seem to move other staff around teams when it suits them ! Please don't waste your time working here you will be disappointed in the end.

Op 27 april bij ze besteld. Een maand later nog niks ontvangen. Heb ze op Instagram benaderd, op Facebook, via hun e-mail en chatbot en zit nog steeds zonder product.

Hoe kan het dat zo’n ‘groot’ lijkend bedrijf geen communicatie kan faciliteren aan hun klanten, schandalig. 134 euro zo verdwenen…

Stiksels van Knee sleeves liet los. na contact via de email mocht ik ze kostenloos retour sturen. inmiddels 5 weken verder en nog steeds geen enkele update ontvangen. Emails worden genegeerd en ik begin te denken dat ik mijn sleeves niet meer terug ga zien.

Ik ben erg teleurgesteld in de afhandeling door SBD. Kort na aankoop van mijn knee sleeves liet binnen twee trainingen al een groot deel van de stiksels los. Voor een premium merk met een premium prijskaartje had ik een aanzienlijk betere kwaliteit verwacht.

Na contact met de klantenservice werd mij gevraagd de sleeves op te sturen voor inspectie. Daarbij heb ik gevraagd of er alvast een vervangend paar kon worden opgestuurd, zodat ik mijn trainingen kon blijven voortzetten. Dit verzoek werd afgewezen.

Dat had ik nog kunnen begrijpen als de verdere afhandeling snel was verlopen, maar inmiddels heeft SBD mijn knee sleeves al bijna twee weken in bezit en heb ik nog steeds geen enkele update ontvangen. Ik moet zelf achter de status aan en zit ondertussen zonder de sleeves waarvoor ik heb betaald.

Door het uitblijven van een oplossing en communicatie heb ik inmiddels via Klarna een terugbetaling aangevraagd. Het is jammer dat het zover heeft moeten komen. Ik hoop daarnaast dat deze review extra aandacht vestigt op deze kwestie en ervoor zorgt dat er eindelijk duidelijkheid komt.

Een product dat zo snel defect raakt is al vervelend genoeg, maar het gebrek aan communicatie en de lange doorlooptijd maken de ervaring nog teleurstellender. Op dit moment kan ik de klantenservice en garantieafhandeling van SBD dan ook niet aanbevelen.

Ik zal deze review aanpassen wanneer er duidelijkheid is of wanneer het probleem naar tevredenheid is opgelost.

UPDATE:

Na het terugtrekken van de betaling via Klarna kreeg ik plotseling wél snel contact van SBD. Daarbij werd aangegeven dat ik eerst de betaling moest laten doorgaan voordat ik een vervangend paar knee sleeves zou ontvangen. Ik heb daarop aangegeven dat ik eerst de vervangende sleeves wilde ontvangen, waarna ik de betaling direct zou vrijgeven. Hierop werd meegedeeld dat dit niet mogelijk was. Vervolgens bleef verdere communicatie opnieuw uit.

Tot mijn verbazing werd een dag later alsnog zonder verdere toelichting een nieuw paar knee sleeves bezorgd. Sindsdien heb ik echter niets meer van SBD vernomen. Geen uitleg, geen reactie op mijn eerdere vragen en geen afronding van de garantiezaak.

Voor mij bevestigt dit vooral dat er pas beweging in de zaak kwam nadat de betaling was teruggetrokken. Dat vind ik geen professionele manier van omgaan met garantieclaims. Mijn advies aan potentiële klanten is daarom om goed na te denken voordat zij bij SBD bestellen. Een defect product kan altijd gebeuren, maar de manier waarop een bedrijf vervolgens met zijn klanten communiceert en problemen oplost, maakt uiteindelijk het verschil.

This company sucks. Use courier who just left my order on front doorstep that anyone could have taken then if they had I bet they’d just keep your money.

Wat een slecht bedrijf is dit qua communicatie.
Alleen via chat bot en mail te bereiken. Maar als je mailt dan krijg je weken later een keer antwoord. Waar je ook nog eens niet aan hebt. Ze zijn ook totaal niet in staat mee te denken met de klant.
Producten mogen dan belachelijk duur maar goed zijn..verder is het ronduit slecht. Ik zou het bedrijf ook nooit aanraden .
Ben echt echt teleurgesteld

Prima bestelling ontvangen, wou het refunde maar niemand reageert uiteindelijk mn kleine belt gehoude dus. ik kan er misschien een jaar mee...

Ordered a size M, and they sent Large sleeves in a Medium Pack

Rude customer service and I ended up paying for the shipping back myself with no reimbursement/collection.

Ik had vrijdagavond besteld en de bezorging was zaterdag. Echter kreeg ik mijn singlet binnen met vlekken erop. Het zag er wel uit alsof het er uit te wassen valt, maar gezien je dan toch het kaartje eraf wil kunnen halen eerst contact gezocht met de klantenservice.

De klantenservice was zeer snel (zaterdag gemaild, maandag reactie) en ben zeer tevreden met de oplossing!

De producten zijn namelijk wel van hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Dus al met al zou ik SBD aanraden

I placed an order for a belt on the SBD USA website on June 2nd, with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 6 business days. However, the order was not even shipped until June 11th, with no notice or explanation for the delay.

As a result of this excessive delay, I was no longer at the delivery address when the item finally shipped. I never received the package, and SBD refuses to issue a refund.

This is completely unacceptable, especially from a company that claims to be professional and reliable.

I’m extremely disappointed with this experience and strongly advise against ordering from their US site.

I contacted sbd yesterday to inform them my buckle had broken on my sbd belt whilst training and with In 24hrs I had a email telling me a new buckle was on its way at no extra cost. Tim the sbd employee I was dealing with was fantastic very helpful and would 100%recommend using sbd to anyone in strength sports

Bestellingen terug gestuurd 2, 25138 en 25173. Men reageert niet meer. Wel bevestiging gehad van ontvangst. Sindsdien radio stilte. Geld houden ze liever blijkbaar zelf.

Ik heb hier sleeves besteld, maar mijn ervaring was helaas erg teleurstellend. DHL heeft het pakket direct retour gestuurd zonder zelfs maar een poging te doen om het te bezorgen. Vervolgens heb ik contact gezocht met de klantenservice via e-mail, maar hier heb ik geen enkele reactie op ontvangen.

Wat het nog erger maakt, is dat ik mijn geld nog steeds niet heb teruggekregen en ook geen enkele indicatie heb ontvangen dat dit binnenkort zal gebeuren. Het gebrek aan communicatie en de afhandeling van het probleem laten veel te wensen over.

I bought an SBD elbow sleeves from them a little over a year ago. And I sent them a picture of the stiches that came completely apart. The response that I got back from them was unfortunately the quality control inspection was missed and the product they sold me was defective. Sorry but you're out of warranty and we cant help you.

I sent the person a picture of a company ELEMENT 26 that gives A LIFETIME WARRANTY. And on their website it tells the consumer the WARRANTY tells you the QUALITY of the PRODUCT and I found out the hard way. I could of bought ELEMENT 26 ELBOW SLEEVES for HALF THE PRICE.

Also I have read in other reviews on SBD that they had the same situation. A little bit after a year of using them the stiching was coming apart plus other serious issues with the elbow sleeves tearing. He contacted SBD via email and he experienced the same thing with them. Hes out of warranty and they couldn't help him and left him high and dry.

So finally since I know alot of power lifters at the gym because I'm power lifter myself I started paying attention to their workout gear specifically elbow sleeves. Well I saw one holding what looks like an elbow sleeve in his hands with the SBD logo on it. And I told him I have SBD elbow sleeves and the stiches came apart a little bit after the year and SBD told me sorry your out of warranty.

He told me these are SBD's and YES the stiching is coming apart. And I asked him how long have you had them and he told me a little less than a year. I then showed him my elbow sleeves with the stiching coming apart and he was really upset. I told him you need to buy from other reputable companies with a longer or lifetime warranty.

I wish I could post pictures of my damaged elbow sleeves but this review platform doesn't allow it. But moving forward I will be talking to all my friends at the gym that need workout gear and letting them know not to buy from SBD.

Bought the SBD Belt and Knee Sleeves and both are fantastic quality. I can see these lasting for years and probably decades they are so strong and well made. When they arrived the belt was the wrong size but when I contacted SBD they quickly went through the process to return and shipped out the correct size by DHL Express, keeping me updated about the progress of the new belt and confirming receipt of the one sent back. They also cover postage for the return. Would highly recommend SBD for their products and very helpful and prompt customer service.

Like SBD need any introduction, that may be their issue. Just because you are at the top, doesn't mean you should stop trying because other companies will creep up on you...shhh ST, cereberus, mobility tools.

Now, the knee sleeves have been bullet proof. I have had them 5 years With zero stitching issues, they have not stretched or 'given' in any way. Ok, they have ripped..my own doing so now I'm in the market which brings me to it. Their customer service isn't great, in an expressive world the designs are boring. So I'd tou want the current best....these are the sleeves but.....others are creeping up.

Purchased a pair of SBD elbow sleeves last year. I like the tapered shape and appreciate that the product is made in Great Britain. After 3-4 months the stitching came loose on one of the sleeves. After 14 months the internal neoprene tore and the nylon shell pulled away from the seam on the other sleeve. I expected a longer lifespan, but this is a typical stress failure. My intent was to order a new pair. First, though, I wanted to know if the company had updated the design or could reinforce the material for better durability. Rather than address my questions, the customer service rep gave a scripted response that my prior purchase was out of warranty and therefore they would not cover the cost of replacement. Huh? When I asked for a specific answer to my product questions, the reply was, "with proper care, we would not expect this issue to arise again". So, a product made from neoprene and nylon should never fail under repetitive loading? Companies usually offer different products with increasing levels of functionality at higher price points (e.g. integrated velcro straps for additional, adjustable support). By contrast, SBD sells a mid-level product at a high price point, and then offers alternative colorways for an additional premium. Several other competitors exist; why support a company that has no interest in improving its products?
