BUYER BEWARE: Unprofessional, Broken Commitments, and Total Disregard for Customer Needs
I am writing this review to strongly advise prospective buyers—especially international travelers and NRIs—to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Satguru Creations and its owners, Sagar Makwana and his father, Nitin.
I ordered a Corian marble mandir and had one critical, non-negotiable, requirement, which I communicated on day 1: it had to be delivered suitable for international air travel, strictly adhering to standard airline limits (under 23 kg per box and within 150 total linear cm).
Although we agreed on a delivery schedule with a few days' buffer to verify weights and dimensions before my flight, Sagar verbally committed to meeting it and then proceeded to display absolute unprofessionalism:
1. Evasion & Communication Breakdown: As the deadline approached, Sagar stopped answering my calls and messages, completely ignoring my repeated requests for the total mandir weight and component dimensions which were crucial to finalize shipment weights and sizes.
2. Eleventh-Hour Delivery & Financial Coercion/Blackmail: He delayed delivery until late evening on the night of our international flight and demanded full payment before releasing the boxes from his workshop, leaving us with zero time or leverage to verify the contents, sizes and weights which are crucial on passenger flights.
3. Grossly Non-Compliant Packaging: When the boxes arrived, they were useless for air travel. Box 1 was 35 kg and 155 cm, and Box 2 was an astronomical 45 kg and 210 cm (far exceeding maximum airline safety limits). The packaging was grossly oversized, dangerously heavy to handle, and poorly constructed with sharp edges and wood splinters enough to cause cuts n bruises.
A quick call to the airline confirmed our worst fear as they flat out refused to carry both the boxes.
When I confronted Sagar and his father Nitin, they refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing. Nitin was equally dismissive, talkative, and completely unwilling to understand our predicament, let alone offer a resolution.
Because of their negligence, we had to leave the mandir behind in Mumbai. I had budgeted an extra ₹40,000 to carry it with us by air, but now, shipping these oversized boxes independently now costs upward of ₹1,00,000—resulting in a direct financial loss of ₹60,000 on top of the cost of an item we couldn't take.
Satguru Creations displayed a total disregard for my specifications, zero accountability, and appalling conduct. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration—look elsewhere.
Needless to say, Satguru creations has not acknowledged any fault in this entire episode and I won't be surprised if they say the same thing in any response they provide here.
Conclusion: Satguru is not suitable for anyone wanting to carry or deliver their mandir anywhere outside Mumbai, simply because of their inability to understand Customer needs coupled with poor communication and lack of professional approach.

We strongly reject Harsh Sharma’s portrayal. Our written records show a materially different sequence of events.
The mandir dimensions were approved first; the specific airline baggage restrictions were introduced later. A larger customised mandir cannot simply be compressed into smaller passenger-baggage limits.
The committed completion date was 4 August, documented in our job sheet and communications, and was honoured.
Harsh Sharma also did not make the agreed 30% payment as scheduled, yet we continued manufacturing and accommodating his requirements. Our balance-before-release terms were clearly stated in the proforma invoice. Despite this, his father, Bhushan Sharma, told us to send the mandir and not discuss payment.
Harsh Sharma was also repeatedly confrontational and used abusive language on calls while our team continued attempting to resolve the matter professionally.
We have now even worked on a lower-cost shipping solution. However, we have been told that this review will not be removed until the mandir reaches his home. We believe a public review should reflect the actual transaction—not be used as leverage in an ongoing commercial disagreement.
