When I started this course, I honestly didn’t know anything about trading — I couldn’t read charts or understand what to do with them. But after learning here, I can now properly analyze the market, see the trends, and understand what might happen next. Everything was explained so clearly that it finally made sense to me. I’m really happy with how much I’ve learned.

NOT A PAID REVIEW:

As an overseas Pakistani, I always look for better learning opportunities, got to know about Laeeq and his work from TBT Podcast, and that was the start of my learning journey.

I took the trading course at Sarmaya Financials and was genuinely impressed. Faraz, our instructor, has a gift for teaching—his clarity, patience, and real-world insights made complex topics feel approachable. The entire team was supportive and professional, creating a learning environment that felt both rigorous and encouraging.

I walked away with a wealth of new knowledge and skills that I’m already applying. It was absolutely worth the investment.

That said, a few areas need improvement:

Prop Firm Recommendation: We were referred to Mockapital, which turned out to be a poor experience. Sarmaya should vet their partner firms more carefully to protect students from unreliable platforms.

AI Integration: To stay competitive in today’s trading landscape, the course should incorporate AI tools and strategies. From algorithmic screening to sentiment analysis, AI is reshaping how traders operate—and students need to be equipped.

Platform Features: The Learn Sarmaya portal should benefit from a proper FAQ section. Many students ask the same basic questions repeatedly, and a searchable FAQ would save time and give top answers more visibility.

Shariah-Compliant Section: With 98% of the staff and students being Muslim, it’s surprising there’s no dedicated section for Shariah-compliant trading in lectures. Having to Google rulings and filter strategies ourselves is inefficient. A curated, well-researched section would be a huge value-add.

Interactive Quizzes: After each lesson, there should be quick MCQ-based quizzes using real-world trade scenarios. Letting students respond with what they’d do in each situation would reinforce learning and give instructors valuable insights into student thinking.

Overall, highly recommended for anyone serious about learning to trade—just do your own research when choosing a prop firm, and I hope Sarmaya continues evolving to meet the needs of modern, ethical traders.

Looking forward to my next adventure with them, with another new course starting mid-October 2025.

I came to know about this trading institute through my friend, and it truly offers one of the best services for trading in Pakistan. While the course fee may seem high at first, it is completely worth it after completing the training. The trainers are very supportive and guide each student as if it’s one-on-one learning. Assignments and session follow-ups create a disciplined learning environment, almost like being in a school. Special thanks to Sir Faraz, whose sharp focus ensures every student benefits fully. Overall, the course is highly valuable and worth the investment.

Training is very helpful. I was new to trading, training helped me alot to understand basis concepts. Live trading sessions were also very helpful.

With no prior knowledge of trading or chart analysis, I was guided step-by-step from the basics to advanced strategies through clear lessons and regular Zoom sessions.

The hands-on trading practice—starting with demo accounts and progressing to real ones—helped me build confidence and consistency in both forex and crypto markets. The modules on trading psychology and risk management were especially impactful.

A big thank you to the Sarmaaya mentors for their constant support. This course not only taught me how to trade but also provided a clear path toward financial independence and wealth.

The training enhanced my understanding of market analysis, order execution, risk management

I had very little knowledge about trading before joining Sarmaaya.pk’s Technical Analysis course. After completing it, I’ve gained a strong understanding of advanced concepts and practical strategies.

The course was well-structured, we had assignments, a Viva, and were exposed to real-life trading scenarios. The charts we created weren’t just theoretical; they were applied in real market conditions, which made the learning much more effective.

We first practiced on demo accounts, and later got access to a prop firm account, I’m currently in Phase 1, which feels like a big milestone thanks to this training.

All of our mentors were extremely helpful and approachable. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond and provide guidance.

Overall, it’s been an excellent learning experience that has given me the confidence to step into live trading.

Forex Fundamentals – helped me understand forex the right way

I first completed Sarmaaya’s Technical Analysis course, which helped me read charts and trade. As a new trader, though, I always wondered how the market actually works. The Forex Fundamentals course cleared this up, explaining how the global economy functions, why currencies strengthen or weaken, and the main factors behind it. Taught by Ammar Yasin, with support from mentor Nabil Kiani in weekly Q&A sessions, the course really broadened my understanding of forex markets.

Suggestions for improvement:

1. The data sources and presentation for assignments could be more user-friendly.

2. Lectures are often too long, which can cause analysis paralysis. Shorter, focused main lectures with optional extra material would make learning easier.

Advice for new learners:
I joined the Fundamental course immediately after Technical Analysis, which I regret. Since I was still struggling with trading, I couldn’t give my full attention to fundamentals. A 6-month gap to practice one strategy under technical mentorship first would have made this course far more impactful.

Fundamentals of Forex Markets (FFM) is a solid course to understand how economic data drives forex markets. The course allows you to understand the direction a currency/commodity is taking, enabling you to take positions accordingly. Ammar Yaseen has done a fantastic job delivering the course, but mentor Nabil Kiani was a standout in our batch (5) because he invested a lot of time with us during mid-week calls and motivated us. Highly recommended!

During this course all the difficult concepts were made very easy for us to understand and our trainer and metor both were very supportive.

This training has been an excellent learning experience, giving me the confidence to put the insights I gained into action. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in building knowledge about Forex Markets, smart money concepts, and various asset classes.
