The quality is excellent and the hoodie is a great fit. But I feel let down by the delivery and communication. When my order was overdue by several days I sent an enquiry email. I got no response but then received a delivery notification from Royal Mail, and delivered the following day. No curtesy email from the company or explanation of why my order had taken so long. It felt like my order has been forgotten and my email reminded them they had an order to fulfil.

I love the fact they’re an independent company as opposed to the large corporate fitness brands, however…
They would do better in managing their customer expectations when it comes to delivery. They say up to 10 working days to process the order, but in reality, it could be up to 16 working days before you receive the order (this happened to me). My order took 22 days in total to be delivered. This meant I missed the two birthdays I ordered them for and Mother’s Day. When people order, they don’t care how long it takes to process; they care how long it will take to be delivered. Just say, up to 22 days for delivery.

I needed to exchange 2 T-shirts as they were too big. Communication from the company was brilliant, they were happy to exchange the items. It took a long time to receive the new T-shirts due to stock issues, but I was kept informed. The products are fab, I love the style and the quality is great.

Ordered a load of t shirts, when they arrived one t shirt was slightly smaller than the rest although being the same size and fit on the tag. Emailed Samson and after a few photos of proof sent. Sam sent a replacement which arrived in a few days, new one fits perfect I didn’t go on to complain as I just wanted to know if the sizing was right. Brilliant customer service and I will be using them again.

I’ve bought five different items from Samson. The Sciatica cropped shirt, brilliant design and so comfy. Then I bagged the Hungry hoodie (went oversize on purpose) its buttery soft material, snuggly comfortable- the colour is gorgeous. I’ve also got three new Tanks because the designs are fun, they look great on and you’re supporting a small business. They print each order to order which is very cool if you ask me. I’m a second time buyer who will be a third and fourth time buyer.
The quality of the clothing is what makes these items a must have for me. I train 4-5 times a week and want to look cool while I’m dying on the floor, panting like a boxer dog and sweating like a marine doing a maths test!

Ordered some Tie Dye t-shirts for a FFMM crossfit comp. we wanted identically matching shirts that were bright and stand out.. these have not disappointed! Colours are even better in real life! delivery was very closed to the promised 10 days, so i was nervous about getting them in time BUT i had left it to the last min to order and you guys delivered!!

Few more comps planned so will be back for some more matching merch!!

Ordered a few T shirts and a hoody, all great looking and good quality.

The issue is, two tees didn’t fit so I’ve returned them, and since then I’ve waited almost two weeks and still not received replacements. The most frustrating element is the lack of communication though - not responding to emails, no updates etc - not good. I appreciate it’s all hand printed and will naturally be a slow process because of that, but as a customer the lack of comms is really poor.

It’s really annoying because the clothing is awesome and I would 100% buy again (and keep buying) but lack of communication and the delays just put me right off.

Been searching for vests the right fit and shape for a long time. Came across samson and thought id give them a try. Ordered 3 vests couldn't be happier.

Ordered 3 tops and absolutely love them! Great value with the 3 for 2 offer. The quality is great, the fit is spot on and will be my go-to for exercise.
Fun designs make them an easy choice for a workout.

Waited an age for three t shirts to turn up, and when they finally did I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Keeping in mind these are supposed to be “athletic” t-shirts, they are the cheapest polyester t shirts I have ever seen, meaning they will be hot and uncomfortable. The material is so thin you can see the light through it.

These were purchased as a birthday gift, so unfortunately I’m now stuck with them.

Samson stuff is fantastic. I first purchased some t shirts from them in 2021 that i still wear now, im a big fan of their hoodies, t shirts and vests.

Their stuff is quality and has personality. Do i wish the stuff came in next day? yes

do i understand why its not, also yes.

Any issues, Sam their MD has repsonded to my emails. Overall, i enjoy Samson

Had a previous issue with items not arriving, frustratingly no response from customer services but then discovered they'd had a warehousing problem - fair enough. Eventually reordered a few T shirts again as the last ones are years and years old and well worn, still look pretty ok for 8 years of use. These new ones are AWFUL. The colour and the design are great but the quality is awful. The design is all cracked, peeling and falling off after a few washes. Completely unwearable. The cotton is fine, the shape of the shirt is fine, they wash fine - except everything peeling off. Have given up with Samson Athletic and won't be purchasing again!

Ordered a number of items off Samson Athletic, can’t fault the quality or sizing, love their products.
Recently purchased three pairs of socks from them, perfect fit and very comfortable.
Their customer service is first class, I emailed them on a Saturday afternoon with a query, the Customer Service team responded almost immediately. Never had this kind of response from any company before.

I ordered the Shred Zeppelin Ladies Tie Dye Cut Off Tank (Size XL - 16) from Samson Athletics on 25th April 2025. Unfortunately, the item was too large, so I returned it on 17th May via Royal Mail, which was delivered and received by them on 19th May. I enclosed a clear note requesting an exchange for the same item in a size L (14).

Despite assurances from Sam Cordingley that a replacement would be sent out once checks were completed, I have yet to receive the exchanged item. I have followed up via email on 4th June and again on 9th June, but have had no response whatsoever.

Not only am I now without the t-shirt I paid for, but I’m also out an additional £4.95 return postage fee (which the company doesn’t cover). The complete lack of communication and follow-through is extremely disappointing, and I would not feel confident ordering again based on this experience.

I hope this review prompts a resolution - I would still appreciate receiving the correct item I paid for over 7 weeks ago.

UPDATE (20th June):
Since posting my review, I’ve received an email from Sam at Samson Athletics explaining that the delay was due to an unforeseen hospital stay. I have now received the exchanged item (in the correct size), and they also included a free top as a gesture of apology, which I really appreciate. While the communication could have been better initially, I’m grateful for the resolution and the goodwill shown.

Always quality t-shirts. They do take a little time to print and therefore you have to be patient, now I’m aware of that i’m happy knowing it won’t be a next day delivery!

Worth using for the designs, fit and quality in my opinion.

Well happy with my order, the material is fantastic and you can tell they care about their products. Took a good few weeks to arrive but a 100% worth it. Will definitely be re ordering.

Bought a sleeveless tshirt/tank for £24.99. Top quality is very poor, really thin almost see through even though it’s black. I appreciate it’s hand printed but it took 10 days to dispatch. If it was £15 I’d be okay with it but £24.99 is too much for a top of this quality.
