The company sent parts that were clearly very different to what I ordered online and when I tried to rectify the matter they were very unhelpful in their responses and refused to acknowledge an issue. They wanted to charge a restocking fee of 20% in order to send me the correct parts despite the order being fulfilled incorrectly by them. This goes against Australian consumer laws. I pursued a refund via PayPal in order to ensure I was fairly dealt with. I am still out of pocket the postage to return the incorrect items. I would NOT recommend this company. Only after I got my incorrect order did I read all the other negative reviews from other customers with similar experiences.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Service Ever
If I could give this business negative stars, I would. Absolute rubbish company.
I ordered a dryer pump, and they sent me the wrong model. When I called to sort it out, the person on the phone was shockingly rude—zero professionalism. I returned the part and requested a refund, but just like countless other reviewers have warned, they ignored my emails and kept insisting over the phone that they “never received” the item.
I had to drag PayPal and Australia Post into the mess just to prove I’d sent it back. Lesson learned: always demand a signature on parcels when dealing with shady operators like this.
This company is nothing but headaches, lies, and terrible customer service. Save yourself the frustration—avoid them at all costs.
They sent the wrong part
They sent the wrong part. When I rang Ali was immediately aggressive because I couldn’t understand what he was saying.
Each following phone call was aggressive and refusing to accept responsibility for their mistake.
My invoice showed I ordered the correct part, but after waiting 2 months I was refunded $42 after spending $97 for the part and return postage.
By far the worst service!!
My partner purchased a washing machine part from Salin on September 5th. After hearing nothing for two weeks, we contacted them. They eventually sent a part, but it wasn’t the one we ordered from their website. We had to pay a repairman a call-out fee for nothing.
When we reached out with clear photos showing the mistake, their only response was, “If you don’t like it, just simply return it.” We paid for return shipping and sent the part back, but they never confirmed they had received it.
After following up again, they agreed to refund us and said they would also cover the return postage. However, we received no confirmation of the refund just a short email saying sorry. When I called to ask again a few days later, Ali yelled at me and insisted the refund confirmation was sent. It turned out he had forgotten to attach the proof to the email.
To make things worse, the refund didn’t include the extra postage costs we paid to return the incorrect part. The entire process took almost two months and during that time, we were left without a working washing machine.
I have never received such poor service in my life. I never leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to so others don’t go through the same thing. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Illegal practices
Ordered a part listed at $116.95, received an email 3 days later stating: "There is an error in our listing, we cancel the order from our end and give you full refund for the order. You can repurchase from below link"
The link points to the exact same part, now listed at... drumroll, $199.
Doesn't seem like they care about being reported to ACCC as they said "Go complain to then then" when I called and explained they had to honour the order at the original price and what they were doing was illegal.
Avoid like the plague.
Duped by Salin Appliance Spares
Product was represented as genuine Bosch part. It was a very inferior poorly constructed imitation. I foolish for being duped by this. I later discovered that the actual genuine part was about a quarter of the cost of this disappointing encounter. I would not recommend Salin Appliance Spares

Ali and his team sorted me out without any headaches. Interpreted the parts for my Samsung washing machine had them in stock and gave me a price that matched online. Much better than the other jokers I had to deal with on eBay.

The unprofessionalism of this company is mind blowing.
Looked on their website for my parts, found them and ordered the exact ones.
Bearings & seal were too small (wrong ones sent).
Told to send them back and they would send the correct ones.......(at my cost). Had a note in the box explaining the situation only to get an email from them asking to "Please explain the return".
Called them and after about 5 phone calls later they said "Oh the bearing you're after is more expensive" (even though their own website shows the machine model No and the needed parts
$57 more sent to them (including postage....again), after 2 weeks still nothing, called again and between them while I was on the phone they realized it hadn't been sent. A real comedy of errors which seems to be the norm at this company.
This has now been over 2 months and finally got the parts.
I will NEVER use them again and will be going to every review site to post to make sure no one else falls for these fools.
Just had to edit this a couple of months later. The bearings I got have now failed and have to be replaced. Needless to say I'll be sourcing them elsewhere

Salin appliance Spares Shady business
I placed an order for a replacement Miele built in coffee machine glass and paid AU$218.95 through PayPal. To my surprise they cancelled the order, refunded my PayPal account AU$212.05 claiming it was cancelled because of an error and instructed me to re order it on their website. I immediately asked why they only refunded me AU$212.05 and they responded that they 💯 refunded me the full amount minus the PayPal fee that PayPal charges them to offer such payment method. So I went on the website to see what the deal was and why they cancelled the order, they had put the price of the item I had originally purchased up AU$40! They wanted me to reorder the item for AU$40 more plus absorb the PayPal fee even though they were the ones to cancel the order, it was their fault that the price was wrong and that the order was made in error not mine! This is poor business practice and seems very shady for a business to operate in this manner. I would avoid doing business with this company as they do not have a moral compass clearly.
Smeg replacement not as described
I ordered a ' genuine' Smeg waveguide cover for my microwave. Salin supplied a dodgy piece of the material that needed to be cut to shape. The material was physically too small and could not be used. They refused to supply a new one unless I returned the faulty item and paid a 20% service fee.
Do not shop with these guys, they do not supply genuine product.
Bad customer service
Unfortunately i dont have a good review to leave your company. After ordering a water tank for my hisense fridge as directed with item number i found when it arrived it did not come with the dispenser part. There are no photos of the tank on your website that show this part doesnt come with it. Since then and several emails to your customer support i find myself not being able to use water tank and no response to my emails requesting this part for over a week. Purchased on 1/8 and a month later its too late to return. Not all all impressed with your customer service and will not purchase again from you or recommend unfortunately. Should have read reviews before dealing with salin..
Return Policy Sucks if it's not your fault
Everything about this supplier was dodgy from the start. No formal intro when you ring them. Pretty much "hello". I paid for the Original Bosch part and express post then looked at reviews online. I was apprehensive after reading a lot of poor reviews. But the part arrived in 2 days. The part did NOT fit my Bosch machine. The website clearly shows it is for my specific model but it is NOT. I raised a dispute with photo proof via their online webpage. Four days later still nothing from Salin. I rang again. Ali had no knowledge of my dispute and so I had to explain the problem again. He said that I have to post the item back at my expense and there is a 20% handling charge too. This is stated in their "Returns Policy".
Well that just makes a return uneconomical. Won't deal with Salin again.
