The product itself its great ( auto parts washer ) does the job in a quick time leaving parts clean. But its not worth having as the maintenance contract is a lie, No communication is given to when someone will be out to service or the service is weeks past when its due and paid for. If you email or phone you are given the normal BS and nothing ever comes of it. Keep away look elsewhere.

If you just want your parts washer serviced well, free of hassle, SafetyKleen probably isn't for you. Even if you ARE looking for a surreal and infuriating experience of unimaginable levels of incompetence- there are cheaper alternatives!
The service itself is nothing remarkable. It's the kind of lacklustre brand of 'overpriced and not great' that you put up with for 18 years without much complaint. The best part of the SafetyKleen experience is saved for when, for lack of a better idea, you sign a new contract with an increased service interval. At this time, SafetyKleen begin repeatedly attempting to overcharge you, sometimes almost 50% more than the agreed contract price. After literal months of chasing them, they will eventually provide a credit note correcting this. This is an uncharacteristically clever ruse, designed to lull you into the sense that someone, somewhere at SafetyKleen might have the slightest idea what they are doing. They do not. The next month they overcharge you by even more, and will resume chasing your unpaid 'debt' (i.e. not having overpaid) for previous months.
They plainly do not have a solitary clue what they are doing. If you are ever able to speak to them, you quickly realise they also don't care. How this company is still trading should be studied by economists. Baffling. AVOID.

The service and admin staff at Safety-Kleen are all very pleasant and their communication skills are very good. However, as for the regular service visits which we receive I would rate this a 3* as I have experienced multiple issues which have resulted in production downtime and pure inconvenience. Having said this, Safety-Kleen are usually pretty quick to find a solution and call out an engineer. I also think that the prices which they charge are very steep and I believe a cost review is required.

We've had a fantastic experience with Safetykleen. From the very beginning which was many years ago, their team has been professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The service they provide is top-notch — always reliable, efficient, and tailored to our business needs.

What really stands out is their customer support — any time we've had a question or needed to adjust a service, they’ve been quick to respond and incredibly helpful,especially Gemma our liaison with SafetyKleen...she is incredible in her knowledge and willingness to help.

As a not for profit charity we feel we have been given a price rise without anytime to react to the end of our contract date. This sales technique is disgusting. We have attempted to solve this problem but was met with a very ignorant and abrupt area manager. I would not recommend Safety-Kleen to anyone. Prices have increased by over 50% in the last 2 years. Avoid at all costs.
Ignorant immoral conmen at Wigan branch. Charged for machine servicing when we were closed during Covid. I refused to pay them and asked to cancel the contract and was told I'd been rolled into another 12 month contract so I couldnt cancel until 3months before the end of this new supposed contract!!
Ended up with a CCJ against my company courtesy of a "Collections company" they set on me. Absolutely disgusting. Keep away at all costs
System wont let me put the true dates, but this was 2021 after we'd spent almost a year trying to fight our case.......

Appalling company to deal with. Held at ransom on a contract for a second hand machine our business inherited. Hit bad times and no sympathy and rudeness from David Hoult-Handford their ‘Legal CoOrdinator’
Not allowed to negotiate a temporary payment plan only under his term and reduced my wife to tears.
The business they run is all for money trying to charge £6k plus for a machine worth £2k.
Stay clear of these rouges and buy/rent your workshop cleaning machines from somewhere else as these people are the worse in the business
Do not use this company they missold me a machine then after closing my account fully paid with proof are now taking me to court for non payment wow

Do not use this company. They had been servicing our washer for many years and now tell us we have to rent a new one for them to service. There customer service is appalling, they do not communicate with you.
Use someone else as they obviously do not care about any custom.

Not surprised by the bad reviews of this company. We have had the same problems and are a long standing customer - not any more! We called numerous times as a promise of a call back wasn’t made. We wanted to confirm there was no charge for collection as we believe we had already paid upfront. Nobody confirmed this and they lost our account so treated us as new customers, collected the barrel and then we got a bill for it. We called again to complain, they said we had to pay again. Very bad management and admin and way too expensive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you already do, go shop around.

Would not recommend. Non existing customer service, zero communication. Constant overcharging. Impossible to resolve any issues. Lack of respect for long-term customers. Shocking charges if trying to terminate contract earlier. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!
