Horrible Experience – Avoid Safemile Auto Transport at All Costs!

Do NOT use this company if you value your time, money, or sanity. In early July, I reached out to Safemile to arrange transport for a non-running classic car and specifically confirmed they had enclosed trailers available. Initially, John was very responsive and answered all my questions, which gave me some confidence in their service.

On Saturday, July 19th, I paid the deposit and received confirmation that pickup was scheduled for Friday, July 25th. I even called on Tuesday, July 22nd, to double-check everything, and was reassured that a driver would contact me on the 24th to coordinate pickup.

Well, the 24th came and went with no call, no text, nothing. I reached out to John – radio silence. Then, on the morning of the 25th (pickup day!), I call the main office only to be told they couldn’t locate a truck or driver and my car would not be picked up.

Unbelievable.

I flew from Florida to Virginia specifically to coordinate this transport – and Safemile completely dropped the ball. Worst of all, they didn’t even have the decency to notify me ahead of time. I had to chase them down on the day of the pickup to learn that they had failed to do their job.

Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and inconsiderate. This company is a logistical disaster and left me stranded. Spare yourself the frustration – find a real transport company that actually delivers on what they promise.

Beware of SafeMile and BUR Transportation they’re working this scheme together! Promised me a 2 day delivery which ended up being 7 days. Minimal communication ONLY when I reached out when daily delivery promises were not met. Claims of truck being broke down 2 hours away. The miles have increased on my car and no explanation was given. I honestly didn’t think I would see my car again!

Dylan at safemile provided excellent service. He courteous, attentive responsive and got me schedule incrediblely fast. Perfect experience.

SCAM!!! First they said they could be there in time to pick up before the holiday weekend but showed up late. Which would have delayed 3 days but I got ahold of the owner of the dealership to fix that myself. Then they told me 3 days and kept pushing it back. In the morning of the delivery the driver says 3pm instead of 11am. Finally at 4pm the driver tells me he’s 6 hours away dropping off other vehicles. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY VEHICLE. DO NOT TRUST THESE MORONS.

This was the "warned about" experience with shipping a car. No matter how many times Adam, Oliver or Arthur promised a driver was booked and would call me to schedule the pick up after I had a printed confirmation and guarantee of a total tariff fee I was lied to until the day of the scheduled pick up. THEN came the scam I was warned about from so many other shippers. I was told a driver finally committed and that my car could be picked up within one or two hours but it would be another 250 dollars. No deal on my part. The car still sits where it was when I left Florida. I had to hustle to box and ship what was to be inside of the car because of their lies over and over and over again. DO NOT EVER deal with these people. WHAT A SCAM!!!!! I AM STILL FUMING. LIARS. ALL OF THEM . DO NOT DEAL WITH SAFEMILE.
