The product was great other than a slight warp in the paper. Excellent print quality. Excellent book construction. Quality product service (answered all my questions). I put the book together in Indesign and exported as a PDF. Only glitch there was that the first time I exported as single pages rather than spreads — make sure you provide export instructions if you are creating your own PDF. Maybe you have them somewhere but I didn’t see them.

I think the book is beautiful but the pages had warps in them and that did not make me happy.

I searched for a high-end photo book to make a vacation album for a birthday gift and Saal Digital was the first name that popped up every time. The professional album with the acrylic cover is stunning! I made a 56 page 12x12 album and the print quality is just breath taking. I highly recommend Saal and will definitely use them exclusively from now on

A number of reasons for a 5 star review here
(1) The interface for the desktop design tool is excellent. Very easy and fun to use.
(2) Quality of product is fantastic. It makes my art sing.
(3) Support services are exceptional. I noticed banding in one section of two images in a photo book. They worked with me to help explain the issue and how to avoid it in the future. I was not looking for reimbursement of any kind. Be that as it may, they did send me a voucher for future purchases - which was above and beyond expectations.
(4) Turaround time. It took 7 days from the time I placed my order, to the time I received it. Shipping costs were very reasonable. Product arrived well packaged. Amazing!

One note is maybe I wish that there were more templates for the number of images. Some of the arrangements that exist for 5 photos does not exist for 4 photos. Would have been nice for some more transitivity in design.

Very high quality printing. Software is quite good and did not take long to master. Very fast turnaround once I submitted the completed book. Just terrific.

I am very disappointed, when my product arrived it has highly visible smears throughout it which can be seen even from a distance. The Acrylic print cost me well over $300 + doors and now I can't even showcase it to the world. I was hoping to have a perfect product and use this to order prints in bulk

I’ve used other services so it took a while to become familiar with how to create a book with Saal, but then it became comfortable. I like the upload and photo organization capabilities. There are a few nice features and some that are either difficult to find or aren’t available. Book was beautiful when received. Pages are heavy/thick and book lays absolutely flat. Image color looks great. A bit pricey, even with a discount so will limit book size in the future. Very quick turnaround time from order to receipt.

The photo book was a gift to my husband and we both loved how it came out!!! The photo app was easy to use.
However, DHL delivered the item to the house next door. It was delivered to 5 Doral Court not 6 Doral Court as requested. The house numbers are clearly visible next to the front doors.

I have ordered albums few times and has always been great experience. Recently there was an error in printing which I brought it to their attention and they took care of it by reprinting the album.

Wow. This is the best company for photobooks, and I will use Saal digital for all my future orders. I'm going through a lifetime of photos, and the gorgeous colors and quality materials is the best from any other company I have seen.

Easy online ordering process plus pretty quick production considering it's in another continent than me plus super dependable shipping (DHL for the win) plus a beautiful, fun finished product (the portrait block) equals a happy new client!

Quality of the 20 x 30 metal prints are outstanding. Unfortunately, experiencing a high rate of damage on items shipped to the USA (4 of 9 prints bent) by DHL. Customer Service is good in that replacements or vouchers are issued promptly. But the damages incurred during delivery have me considering other photo labs.
