We were kept well informed and updated. The phone was always answered and if the person we needed to speak to was already on a call when we rang, they would always ring back. If they weren't in the office, another member of staff would speak to us and pass messages on or answer our queries. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was served section 21 notice just just after 6 months of renting the property, they claimed the owner wanted to sell and I offered to buy. They then came back to me that the Landlord is no more interested in selling and a family member was moving in. I eventually moved out. Alas, time to pay my deposit came, the agency and the landlord came up with various excuses to avoid paying back my deposit. By the way I am a very compliant tenant, paid on time, even emailed to ask them what my balance is before I moved out and paid every penny. I did not trash the property and the property was handed back the way we met it. I have a decent amount to purchase a property, emailed 2 of their sales team members already but will never even go near them as I am so disappointed in them right now.
I am so so disappointed that they are trying to avoid to pay back my deposit with all tricks in the book. This is my money and I want it back fully.

Just bought our first home through Ryder and Dutton! Jenny has been really helpful with communication between ourselves and the sellers and always gets back in a timely manner. Process overall has been good!

After an awful experience with an online "specialist" landlord estate agent, we switched to Ryder and Dutton to sell the rest of our portfolio and the first with them recently completed. Really smooth process from start to finish and did not take any longer than the original company that claimed to be much quicker than high street companies. They have he biggest presence in the Oldham and Chadderton area and we found their local knowledge to be very useful. More importantly, their communication was exceptional. Jenny Boyle, the move manager, made sure we knew exactly where we were up to without having to be prompted. It was so refreshing after having to constantly (and unsuccessfully) chase the previous firm for even a snippet of an update. I just hope the rest go just as smoothly.

Absolutely disgusting company to use to value or sell your property. They undervalue your home to ensure you get a quick sale. They don't care about you as a client. They are very unprofessional and bitched about their competitors who we had decided to go with. We have the email to prove it and I am still very tempted to take this to the ombudsman and to the local media. Please do not use this company as they dont care about the client, they bring the area down and only care about making a fast sale.

I had a good experience with my contact person (Jenny​​​​ Boyle), she was always nice and polite. She gives me feedback at different stages, even when the former occupier of the property was not cooperative, she talked to me nicely.

R&D provided a professional, friendly, comprehensive service under pretty difficult circumstances!!!
Every member of staff was pleasant and always called back when they said they would during the process.
In final completion phase Jenny Boyle, the Move Manager, provided great support for which we are very grateful. Her regular updates and discussions with the solicitors definitely kept this difficult process on track. We wouldn’t hesitate to use R&D again - hopefully under easier circumstances!
