I have been fortunate to deal with RW Perio on a few occasions over the last few years and I have been extremely impressed - a wonderful company to deal with and the professionalism of the staff is second to none!

The Organised and Natural Feel to a Specialist Dental Clinic on Harley Street really made an impact in my experience in visiting this practice and future appointments i will be making.

The attention to detail and care was brilliant and the technical execution of all the equipment and staff onsite was exceptional.

The staff exceeded my expectations on every level. The attention to detail and care provided by the practice are impressive - you can tell it is a practice that cares about its patients from beginning to end. All my interactions have been seamless, easy, clear and accommodating. Highly recommended.

I was scheduled for gum surgey after being referred by my dentist to RW Perio, and the work that has been done is 5 star. I will not bad-mouth a job well done.

The problem comes with the intial cost quoted to me. I cannot remember the exact amount, but the company quoted me around £2,000 per gum graft, so around £4000. I budgeted £5000 just to be safe. I was paying out of pocket, because I don't have dental insurance. I'm not wealthy.

Little did I know that there were cleaning fees, follow up sessions (sessions that largely amounted to the dentist looking at my teeth and saying, "Looks good" before handing me a goody-bag.) Each cleaning was at least £100. Each follow-up was around £200. Then they texted me for a "annual review" which is going to cost £200. All told it ended up being nearly £2000 over the actual cost quoted to me.

The dentist chair looks like something out of a sci-fi film. Their's purified water and increadibly pricey looking furniture and what not everywhere. I should have know they'd nickle and dime me. As an American, I should have expected it. Make sure you get everything laid out in writing with time-lines and costs.

These people are great at their job, but boy do they milk you for everything you've got. Don't believe their prices and quotes. Ask follow up questions and ask what's included.

Warning to Others - All Hype, Terrible Patient Experience

I had a highly disappointing experience with this clinic, and I feel compelled to warn others. My dentist referred me here for gum recession treatment, and the process has been nothing short of frustrating.

After initially phoning the clinic on September 26th, I provisionally booked an appointment for October 19th. However, I had made it clear that I needed to confirm with my new employer if my dental plan covered the consultation, when it kicks in and treatment costs. The clinic agreed to hold my spot until mid-October, which seemed reasonable at the time.

Shockingly, less than 24 hours later, on September 27th, I received a call from them, pressuring me to confirm the appointment because of "interest from others." I reiterated that I was not yet able to commit due to the reasons already explained, and they grudgingly agreed to wait until October 4th.

Then, on September 30th, I was contacted via WhatsApp, again pressuring me to confirm, with the clinic now setting a hard deadline for a same-day payment—completely disregarding the agreements we had previously made.

When I called to confirm on October 4th as planned, I was told that my appointment slot had already been given to someone else. The person I spoke to cited their "24-hour policy", ignoring our prior agreement(s) and making me feel like they cared more about filling their schedule than honoring their word.

I felt incredibly uncomfortable and frustrated with how they handled this, and it became clear that their focus was more on their own needs than on patient care. Needless to say, I found a different practice, where the service was far superior, and the staff genuinely cared about addressing my concerns and making me feel at ease.

Completely unprofessional service:

Don't make agreements you can't keep.
Treat patients with respect—we are not just a source of revenue.

Save yourself the stress and avoid this clinic and find somewhere that does great work and focuses on Patient experience.
