Sellers can consign their items for exceptionally low fees, which are some of the lowest in the UK. Buyers Premium is 22% + VAT. On sale days, you can bid in person in our modern air-conditioned auction rooms, or through our website. Our on-site Bistro, Quercus, is open for brunch, lunch and evening meals and great coffee. We offer free car parking to visitors and we have 3 EV charging points. Note: You must register your car with reception to avoid receiving a parking charge.

Refund received today of £98:70, for wrongful charges on my purchase, thank you for this & glad to know you have made changes so this does not re-ocurr, this mistake caused me a lot of grief, & unessary hardship.

Informed RWB I would require postage & knew investment gold was vat free explained this to RWB, to be slapped with a customs charge of €112.97.
Daylight robbery, had little choice but to pay. They take no responsibility what so ever, as I know anpost will blame the sender.
Will never use again.

First time buyer from an RWB auction. I rang up beforehand regarding delivery and received friendly advice. The antique item I bought was extremely well packaged and arrived promptly. The packaging and delivery charges were reasonable too and the after sales treatment was miles better than some auctioneers. I would have no hesitation to bid again on a future auction.

Well informed from start to finish
Well informed from start to finish, was amazing to be able to watch the auction online at home, much easier than visiting as i would of been very nervous of doing something & ended up buying my own stuff back.
The staff were very good, polite & very patient with me.
Amazed at how much everything sold of, a little sad at the items going but hope they make the buyers happy, more so me as i got the money.
I would in no doubt highly recommend for people to sell at RWB.

The staff are polite and exceedingly helpful, providing answers to questions within minutes. The location is accessible easily from the M4, should you need to collect, ample dedicated car parking and excellent modern facilities; rather rare in Auction Houses outside London. There’s even an inviting coffee shop in the building. The Buyers Premium is quite reasonable and RWB have kindly packed and posted lots upon request, when practicable. I wholeheartedly recommend RWB

Excellent auction site
Great experience! I bid remotely and the communications with them were consistently excellent. Yes, final prices with added charges can appear a little steep but most auction rooms have, sometimes sharply, upped rates over the last few years and these, I think, are around average now. The items were carefully wrapped up and a good variety of postal options given (you can also choose your own). Photos and description on the website were accurate and thorough. Very happy with them and would happily use them again. Thank you so much for my lovely dinner service and for being patient with me and with all my questions too!

Whichever method you choose to bid, if you're the winning bidder, you are bound to pay the hammer price plus our 22% Buyer’s Premium and VAT. The Saleroom and Easy Live Auction both levy a small internet bidding surcharge for using their platform. There is always the option to visit our auction house in-person too and bid in the room!

On the plus side , the auction is run very well and bidding is simple and easy , so 5 stars for that. The down side , watch out for the shipping cost , the best thing to do with this auctioneers is to call them and get a quote before you bid or you will be stung with up to 3 times the actual cost plus the VAT.

Regarding shipping, your original quote was based on one of the lots being classed as a medium parcel, which we advertise across our website and all bidding platforms. Once the item was picked, we recognised it was smaller and reduced the charge to the small package and made a refund. We always aim to be fair and dispatch promptly. We hope you were impressed with the speedy dispatch! The lots were sold at 11.30am on Thursday 21st and the parcel was delivered on Saturday 23rd at 12.45pm.

MG midget sale
I recently sold my 1972 MG midget at RWB auctions. Will initially visited the house for info and photos and gave me a very fair reserve price he was knowledgeable and realistic about the car. The car sold above the reserve price which was fantastic all in all I am very pleased with the overall service from the auction house all the staff I dealt with were friendly and professional and I would recommend their sevices to anyone.
