I recently had a disappointing experience with Rush Athletics regarding a faulty skipping rope I purchased. After using the rope only once a week for about six months, it snapped at the handle. Given the circumstances, I expected a straightforward refund as the product was not fit for purpose.

Initially, I was met with a dismissive response that suggested the breakage was due to improper use on my part, despite my careful handling of the product. They offered me a 20% discount on future purchases instead of addressing my request for a refund, which I felt was inadequate given the situation.

It wasn't until I mentioned my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that they finally agreed to process a refund. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed, as it felt like I had to threaten them with legal action to receive the service I was entitled to.

I expected better customer service and accountability from a company that promotes quality products. I would advise potential customers to be cautious when purchasing from Rush Athletics, as their customer service may not be as reliable as one would hope and the products are not built to last (from my experience).

TLDR: the product is made of poor quality materials and is poorly designed, and they were not willing to send a replacement

I purchased their heavy rope a little over a year ago and only used it moderately without really stressing it much.

The rope cracked at both end near the handles, and they refused to replace the product because I was out of warranty by 2-3 months.

Instead they gave me tips on how to hold the rope in the future to avoid this. Which is quite frankly ridiculous, given a skipping rope that is used moderately should last years.

The rope is made of poor quality materials and the handle design digs into the rope and damages it. I would advise against using this brand of products.

The quality of this garment was first class. Lovely thick fabric and fleece lined. It was a perfect fit and the colour was exactly as depicted on the website. Fabulous customer service. Quick despatch. Good communication. Very satisfied customer 😊

The jump rope looks good just like in the pictures. My only complain is that it took a little more than a week to get delivered. I am excited to try it out and start making history with this rope. I hope that it can live up to its reputation.

Not recommended if you order outside the UK. I had to pay 20 EUR extra for VAT.

They nice but don’t last to much.
It breaks from where the handles are☹️
