The prompts don't work, the videos have to be edited several times, wasting money and credits, terrible. A way to drain credits. They should only charge for approved generations. Terrible product, disappointed.

The service is a joke. I subscribed for my video editing, after loading video, the system revealed an error. I asked my money back, because I did not managed to use a service. Support answered, I am not eligible for a refund. Avoid this company, you just spend your money with zero results, plus hostile customer support. They don't refund.

I subscribed to Runway ML's unlimited plan and was permanently banned without any warning, explanation, or prior communication. No scripting, no account sharing — just using the service the way it was meant to be used, right in the middle of an important client project.

When I tried to raise the issue, I was ignored. When our community of 30+ affected users tried to discuss it publicly on Reddit, our posts were removed within minutes across multiple subreddits. When we raised it on their Discord, we were banned from there too.

This is not a billing error or a misunderstanding. This is a pattern. Dozens of paying customers have experienced the exact same thing — banned without cause, mid project, with no recourse and no refund.

If you are a filmmaker or creator considering Runway ML — document everything, screenshot everything, and think twice before trusting them with a client deadline.

I had the Pro Plan, and after just two 30-second videos, all my credits were gone. You can’t even make corrections without losing even more credits. One of the videos was really cool, and I can use it as an intro for my YouTube channel, but creating videos with very precise results is difficult. The software definitely has potential, though.

A horrible company with zero customer support. They use misleading advertising, luring you in with priority access, then dramatically slowing you down after a few days.

Their models are heavily censored with vague Terms of Service and no explanation for why your prompt was rejected. You can wait an hour for a video, only for it to be rejected in the end.

They remove features without any warning. I bought an annual plan for $1000 expecting 1080p Seedance 2 videos in about 10 minutes per generation, and within days they removed that. Shortly after, they also started slowing down generation times.
Asking support on why i have slow ageneration that will even fail with big $ rate so jsut hours of time with 0 videos - they ansered "you can buy more credits to make videos faster" and their credits price is 4x times more expensive that other platforms.

They delete negative messages and feedback from their Discord server.

They can also ban you without any refund.

that is absolutely raw service with extremely high cost of generation and prompts do not work at all. literally i used all forms this world can imagine to say that i want to animate a simple picture but without camera moving... it does not understand such a simple task. 3 pictures took a budget that is provided by a 15$ subscription. So one animation is around 5$ and it would be 99% not what you wanted. So my fair thought is that service is raw and is designed as a scam, coz they do not reimburse just scam people. you can do same type of wrong animations for free on other platforms. Runway sucks

Inefficace. L’IA ne tient pas compte des précisions demandés. L’IA utilise des langues inconnues dans la vidéo Cher payé, 149€ pour aboutir à des heures de frustration. Pas de support client, à part un chat. Pas de possibilité de contact par mail ou autre.
La FAQ sur le site internet ne parle que de ‘stopper l’abonnement’, mais pas moyen d’avoir un remboursement, malgré que j’essaye de contester le jour même !! Une complète arnaque.

Acheté par via Applestore. Le site renvoie vers Apple pour un remboursement et Apple refuse un remboursement, parce que pas éligible, alors que acheté le même jour??!!!

Avoid this website & don't waste time. I wasted USD 15 and an hour and I was able to get only one video, which was just 7 seconds long. For another video, I tried so many prompts, starting with a rich detailed prompt, which I kept simplifying because the website kept saying, "Unable to generate, internal error etc.". Finally, I simplified it to the extent where I just said that make the man in the attached photo speak these words and I provided the words and it still failed.

If possible, I will give them ZERO stars but now, my money is gone and wasted.

Avoid this company at all costs. For $15, you're given just 10 renders, each only 5 seconds long. Yes, seriously. The quality is shockingly poor, especially when compared to even mid-tier rendering AIs on the market. To make matters worse, they offer no refunds, even when the service clearly fails to deliver. This is a textbook example of overpromising and underdelivering. There are far better, more reliable options out there, don’t waste your money here.

Such a complete and utter waste of money and energy. I had to upgrade straight away to actually do anything, then after putting in the prompts it generated a 5 second video that was totally useless. So I did another one tweaking the prompt and what came up was absolute nonsense and totally unusable not to mention is was 5 seconds long. I contacted support telling them it was a waste of time and they said because I had used some credits I couldnt get a refund. I literallly generated two 5 second crap videos. how can you test it if you cant use it. I asked again and they still said no to refunding the money. Steer clear of this company and app. Its a total waste of money and time.

The model is still poor, and the quality is far below what’s acceptable for a professional video. It’s far too expensive for such poor quality. I won’t invest any more money in their model until I see real improvement. At this point, considering the price they’re asking, it feels like a scam

The generations are really poor, it can't follow basic instructions. The credits don't roll over month to month which is the biggest rip off.
