Bad reviews seem unjustified.
After I ordered my champagne glasses from Royal Doulton Outlet online, a site I only trusted because I had once been to the outlet store in Sydney, I read all the terrible reviews and panicked. My beautiful and perfect champagne glasses arrived in a few days, long before promised delivery and all interactions were efficient and polite. On this experience I would highly recommend them.

Had an excellent experience with Royal Dalton. I asked them if they had a pasta bowl I could purchase as I smashed mine from a set, and they had a spare one available that they were happy to send me whereby I just paid postage. Very quick response from them and quick delivery! All in all an excellent experience, would recommend Royal Dalton to anyone. Thank you so much!

First class service! I bought my second set of light grey maze x Gordon Ramsay plates and love them!
Had one slight issue which was rectified and sorted immediately!
The service was so good I had to leave a review!

DO NOT BE PERSUADED TO BUY BRITISH BERKEFIELD Water Filters.
WHY?
1. They are a total financial drain and DO NOT WORK
2. The filters do not filter and the Company have actually emailed me stating that their T&C’s cover that residue isn’t covered
3. They quote length of filter durability which is not the case despite scrubbing the filter
4. Everything is by email- very hard to make any phone contact with a live human
5. The filter system takes a very lengthy time to pass the water through their inefficient system

7. Unhelpful customer services where they really are polite by email but have no intention to offer refunds or ge one customer service.
I am sorry to see this company stoop this low.

I absolutely love my 4 cup coffee set, I have used it for a few years, they are the perfect size for my long espresso coffee, light, comfortable to hold, and beautifully designed. Unfortunately I broke one of the mugs and I wrote to their customer service team to see if I can purchase a new one without buying the whole set. They informed me that unfortunately that wasn't possible but that they would check in their retail stores. Not only did they find my coffee cup, but they mailed it to me entirely free of charge. I was very touched by this and I will be sure to shop there again.

Do not use to buy anything

Awful company, they delivered my order three weeks later than expected and then when I wanted to return my parcel wouldn't help me with how to do this

I am still waiting on my money back and it has now been 2 weeks since they received the parcel🤬, I have emailed them again and not had any response, tried to call they don't pick up

My experience with Royal Doulton customer service has been utterly disappointing. First, it took RD ages to deliver my order. Then, it took them an unreasonably long time to get a response to my initial inquiry about a return. When I finally did hear back, the representative seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Extremely unprofessional and disgraceful communication both through email and on the phone. They couldn't provide a clear solution or timeline for addressing my issue, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. It's disheartening to see a company with such a strong reputation fail to provide the customer service that matches its products. When we finally agreed on DPD collection, they claimed as if my items were not ready for collection, although nobody ever rang the doorbell! Utterly ridiculous and pathetic service! Now I wonder if I would ever be able to return the items I didn’t like and ever get my refund. I so much regret not ordering the same set from John Lewis given their amazing reputation for customer care. Buyers beware!!!

I ordered a mug, it was delayed and when it finally arrived it was such poor quality it looked like something I could have bought from the supermarket. I emailed about a return and refund. It took 8 days to get a reply. No return label. I paid the postage. I sent proof of delivery to them on 12th December. Still no refund and despite emailing several times I’m getting no response. Shockingly bad customer service. I do not recommend this company.

Avoid at all costs! Ordered 1/12. Email on 4/12 to say order has been delayed. I emailed them on 12/12 & 19/12, not had any response. 21/12 - still no response & no parcel. Terrible service. I love their products but would advise to never buy direct from Royal Doulton. John Lewis & Fenwick are far better!
Update- no communication still but half of the order did arrive on 24/12. Over 3 weeks after I placed the order. No news on the rest of it. Lack of communication is biggest problem.

Terrible Service! I have placed an order almost 1 month ago and have not received it yet.

I'm not getting any replies nor updates via email.
I'm being totally ignored and have yet to receive my order.

I ordered two plates from Royal Doulton. One arrived in a huge box with immense amounts of packaging. For some reason, the second plate was delivered separately to an outpost of DPD the following day that I can't get to because of being disabled and without transport. I have tried to phone Royal Doulton's Customer Service, but their phone lines don't seem to be working as an automated voice asks ypu to wait while you are connected to Customer Services and then the line goes dead! I have phoned again and again, and the same tghing happens every time. I have also emailed, filled out an online form and still, there has been no response. After all that, the plates they sent are the wrong size. There is no return label, only a return address with no return postage offered and no support whatsoever! It is too much of a risk to pay for the privilege of returning the plates in the hope that I am refunded. I am really shocked that in this day and age of being encouraged to buy online, they are offering such a poor service. I am stuck with these plates now and still don't have the plates I needed for Christmas.

Awful experience. Despite being informed that it will take 3 to 5 days for a response its now been 3 weeks. What was supposed to be something nice for me to use at Christmas looks like will not arrive in time. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Never again

I wish I had read reviews before ordering. My order was for a Christmas present .When order didn't arrive tried many times to phone no response, e-mails were answered in a non committal way if at all. Then I asked for a cancellation of the order the same day two plates arrived! Then the money which was initially taken from my bank account at the start seemed not to be so. (I don't know how that did that) ! These days most reputable companies customer service is very good pity Royal Daulton don't seem to think that necessary. Incidentally re purchased via amazon arrived the next day! lesson learned there.

Awful, simply have no customer service or support, take your money and couldn't careless for responding to any correspondence, warehouse delay my backside, LAZY

After ordering my plates and cups online from Royal Doulton looked at the reviews online and was worried especially after a couple days receiving a email saying delivery delayed, but no within the week all items arrived safely and unbroken and brought at a good price, so no complaints from me.

Placed and order for £527. Then I got an email saying it was delayed. Then after emailing asking what was going on a few WEEKS later I got no response and just got an email saying my whole order was cancelled. Customer service are useless and just say they can't do anything something about a warehouse problem. However, everything I ordered is still up for sale on the website. Again Customer service just say its not there problem. Won't ever buy from them again

This company has no product guarantee and no customer service despite what they would like you to believe. There is no telephone contact and the email link on the web doesn’t work.
It is really a zero star experience with them.

Purchased their Gord Ramsey set of 12 complete dinnerware. After awhile bottom of dishes completely scratched by daily use of utensils. They look like they are dirty all the time.
Wrote to Royal Daulton to request an exchange for a different type of china but company refused my request. Instead they suggested I use harsh chemicals to get rid of the scratches. Would anyone have their family eat from dinnerware that’s been cleaned this way?
Terrible experience with this company. They do not stand behind their product in spite of the fact that they cost a great deal more than other brands.
