Uncomfortable
Okay, so this is an honest review. I have normal feet. I can wear any shoes. Typically they don’t hurt my feet at all. I wear heels, tennis shoes, flats, whatever, they work and I can rock them. I wanted to love my Rothy’s. I love the look of them, but I bought the pointed toe ones at first. I bought them in red, black and round toed black and grey. Pointed toe Rothy’s were awful, they hurt my big toe, so I sent them back and sized up. The same thing. The round toe, I kept, but more than a hour and they hurt my toes. So, stupid me bought the loafer because my best friend had them and I loved the look, sized up, still fit, 2 hours in them and I needs to walk in the heel and not let my toes touch the top part of the shoes. My overall experience with their customer service wasn’t bad, if I now own 4 pairs of Rothy’s that I will never wear.

Terrible customer service, zero responsibility or interest in customer retention; also poor quality control and consistency on product.
Can't change or cancel an order - must reorder
I ordered a pair of shoes, and immediately realized that I hadn't clicked 'expedited shipping' so I e-mailed customer service. They told me they couldn't cancel the order and they couldn't revise the shipping speed. Instead they told me to reorder the shoes and then just send a pair back. This is terribly wasteful for the environment and poor customer service. Why couldn't they just revise the shipping speed? This was all made worse by the fact that I'd used a "welcome20" code, which now just convinces me to NEVER ORDER FROM ROTHY!
My first experience with rothy's and my last
My first experience with rothy's will be my last. Clearly from this site they do not value customer service. I bought two pair and when I realized they didn't fit, i tried to exchange the unworn pair. I was told it was final sale, but this was not noted on the website when I purchased it. I would never buy a final sale shoe that I had never tried on. No help from customer service. Terrible company.
BEWARE Rothy's sizes fluctuate
I've purchased 3 pairs of Rothy's. My first order was for a single pair. I ordered the recommended size and they fit wonderfully. I ordered 2 more pairs in the same size. One was the same style and another in a different style.
Unfortunately, both new pairs didn't fit the same as the previous pair. They were huge. When I tried to get an exchange, I was allowed on one pair but not the other. The other was a final sale.
I called customer service to exchange it for a smaller size (the website says the smaller size is available) but was told their system wouldn't allow a return. I explained that I am not asking for a refund, I would just like a size that fit so I could wear the shoes. Again I was told they would not allow an exchange. I explained this was the exact same style that I had previously ordered in the same exact size, only this pair was huge. Again I was told they would not allow an exchange but maybe I "could try to sell them myself online".
I am enormously disappointed in their customer service. This is the wrong way to handle an error on their part.
I will never purchase from this company again.

I just ordered 4 pairs of flats. (2 of the same style in different sizes so I could see which size fit better). I did this b/c the website says to size up so, not ever purchasing Rothy's before, I was unsure of my exact size.
When I received the shoes I see that they are part of a final sale. I contact Rothy's and they will not offer me any solution to the problem. No credit, no exchange and no return. Yes, I should've paid more attention when purchasing, but I find it to be incredibly poor customer service for a company that charges so much for a pair of flats.
It will take me a great deal of time and effort to find someone to buy the shoes from me and likely I will just have to give them away so I'm out $160. I will never buy Rothy's again.

Most uncomfortable shoes I've ever tried on. They were simultaneously too big and too small. I bought half a size up since reviewers said to. So the heal was too big. The toes were so squished. Only saving grace, returning was really easy.
Don't buy Rothy's
Don't buy Rothy's. They are Rothy Holes and they refuse to assist. Rothy needs to read their customer comments and realize they are limiting their own longevity.
Criminal scam
I have not even received the shoes that I have ordered and I feel the need to tell others about the criminalty of Rothys company. I went to their "Australian" webpage to order a pair of their driver shoes. Set up an account as required and proceeded to purchase. Prior to confirming my order they listed the sale price along with shipping price and total. All good, so I pushed the confirm order button. Once confirmed a message came up that advised me that there would be a "small" charge for currency exchange. Turned out to be an additional $17 or 13% markup.
My first experience with Rothy’s
My first experience with Rothy’s: I ordered a bag that was due to arrive before Christmas, but actually arrived the day after. And it was the incorrect item. I reached out to Rothy’s to resolve. They would not discuss with me, only through email exchange. I was given an “assignment” in order to resolve the issue without much concern for the inconvenience. And it appears that the item I ordered is now out-of-stock. I don’t feel that my business is valued and will not order from them again.
Rothy holes! Trash turning into trash!
Black points have holes in the toe!! This is definitely an issue with the shoe. How is it sustainable if the shoes (11 plastic bottles) just end up in the landfill 2 years later anyway. Seems like they are just making a lot of money off of using trash to make their product and then their product becomes trash anyway. Brilliant con artists!!
Received Rothys as a gift for my…
Received Rothys as a gift for my birthday. Within a couple months, the shoes started to get holes in them, so I contacted Rothys to see what could be done. I was instructed to send the shoes back and I would be given a new pair. Once they received the shoes, they only issued me a credit of 105 since they were purchased with a coupon. When I contacted them asking for just an even exchange for the same shoe - bc otherwise I'd have to spend $30+ for the same shoe - they said no. So I then asked for a refund since I wasn't interested in being forced to pay extra money for the same shoe I had, and they also refused. So now I have $105 in purgatory bc nothing on their website is $105, and if I want another pair of shoes, I have to pay extra. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Save your time and money, do not purchase from Rothys.

First and last time buying Rothy’s
First and last time buying Rothy’s. When a company says their ‘shoes run small order a half size up,’ you listen right? That’s exactly what I did but the shoes ended up being too big and they will not accept an exchange as they were purchased during a Christmas sale. Keep in mind I can’t just wear a thick sock or double up to make up for the extra space. I ordered flats, these are shoes you wear without socks. And if you’ve ever worn flats that are too big you know you can’t just suck it up and wear them anyway because you probably still have lingering scars from the painful blisters that developed the last time you tried that method. I understand policies but when companies make statements about the size or fit of their product they should know there’s a chance these statements won’t apply to everyone (me in this case) and be prepared to make accommodations when they don’t. Extremely disappointed in this company. I decided to go green but wasted my money on Rothy’s instead.
How to give a brand a bad name
I have purchased items from the Rothys American site previously and the products and speed of service was second to none. However it is all different with the Chinese company advertising Rothys now. I should have known I was just throwing money away. Don’t purchase from the Rothys Australia site because it’s either a scam or the most inept and incompetent company in the world. Totally ruined the name of a good company
Completely wrong order, bad customer service
Company shipped 2 pairs of shoes that were completely incorrect (wrong shoes, wrong size). When I contacted them, all they could say was that they would forward the "issue" to their issue response team and I had to wait for an email from them. One of the pairs that I ordered was now out of stock, but they couldn't care less. When I asked if they could try and track where my shoes went, the response was "No, we have thousands of orders." The implication is that they couldn't be bothered with my little order of 2 pairs of shoes. Utterly ridiculous from a company that sells shoes for $200 a pair. I've had better customer service at Walmart. I was ready to give them a lot of business, but if they cannot fulfill orders correctly, cannot track them, cannot rectify errors on their part, and can't bother to apologize and make things right, why would I? They acted as if refunding the price of the shoes that are no longer available was generous - no other concessions or offers of any kind. Just a "Please send the wrong shoes back to us as soon as possible."

This company can’t cancel orders after 24 hours even if it hasn’t shipped. Worst customer service in the world. Don’t let the plastic bottle shoes made in China fool you into thinking this is a good company.
Store sent me home with wrong colored bag
Bought a bag in the store. They sent me home with a different colored bag. I asked if they could ship me the correct bag and a box to return the wrong bag because it’s inconvenient for me to go to the store for the exchange. They said no and the only thing they could do is hold the correct bag in the store until I come by. Given the company’s lack of accountability for poor customer service, I will no longer support this company. I look forward to finding other sustainable fashion companies that care about the customer experience.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I ordered the shoes on October 22. They are supposedly arriving Nov 5. It took them a week just to ship them. Website says they ship next day. Two weeks to get a pair of shoes is just not worth it.

Rothy's customer service has been deplorable. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes. They sent me 2 pairs of the wrong style & wrong size shoe. When I did get the pairs I ordered I needed to return 2 because of fit issues. There was no record of my purchase on their return site. I've emailed them twice & called twice. They say they can't refund the money for the 2 returned pairs because it's not found in their system. I've tried & tried to explain & they are like a broken record. So I'm out over $250 for shoes I don't have. They messed up on someone else's order by sending it to me & I sent that back. But they have not been helpful to me at all.
