As part of a recent system transition, there were a few initial hiccups, and we’re continuing to refine the experience to make storing with Roomia as seamless as possible.
Self Storage or boarding house?
When your company pays for a storage facility, and you turn up and see people living in a few of the units, then my confidence in security and personal safety becomes an issue. Reported to some manager "josh" it was like talking to a deer in headlights. Weird response. I can't send my wife or my PA on her own anymore.

To be clear, we do not support or permit anyone living in storage units. This is a breach of our lease agreement and, where identified, is addressed immediately, including termination of access.
We also recognise the broader context, that people may be experiencing difficult circumstances, and situations like this are handled carefully and respectfully, including with regard to privacy.
In relation to your interaction with Josh, we’re sorry you felt the response was not what you expected. Josh is a valued team member who is consistently recognised in customer feedback, and in this instance would have been managing a sensitive situation appropriately.
We understand your concerns around safety and confidence, and we apologise for the way this has made you feel. Please be assured that security and the wellbeing of our customers is a priority across all our facilities.
As this matter has been addressed across a number of channels, we won’t repeat the detail here. If there’s a specific outcome you’re seeking, please let us know directly and we’ll do our best to assist.

I’ve had an excellent experience over the years. I’ve just packed up my fourth storage unit, and the level of customer service has always been outstanding.
Maria was particularly wonderful to deal with, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was ever a bother, and she made the whole process smooth and stress free.
I highly recommend Roomia Storage to anyone looking for reliable and well managed storage solutions. I will definitely be returning for any future storage needs.

Storage facility is good
Storage facility is good, but it had couple of break-ins, that was bit shocking. Security should be improved.
Also pricing is bit high compared to other storage facilities.
Courtesy Van is only available at the time of moving into the storage, not after move in if you want to bring additional stuff for storage, this is bit disappointing.

Security is something we take very seriously. We’ve recently strengthened this further at Truganina with advanced AI cameras and reinforced perimeter measures to give customers even greater peace of mind.
Great point on the move-in van too. We include it for move-in to help make that first step easier, and it is available for future use for a small fee so we can keep it accessible for as many customers as possible.
