I'd like to share with you my experience working with Reverb as an employee.

A half year ago, I had a chance to work in linkbuilding and SEO team at Reverbico.com.

Started everything good, I got my new freelance job in the SEO team under a good manager. And of course I had a chance to be interviewed with the cEO David Roberts, who came on the interview just eating his piece of pizza and asking me questions that hadn't related to any of my experience in this field of occupation. But nevertheless I was attracted to him, because of my English, so me mentioned it many times.

I joined the small team in the telegram chat consisting of SEO Lead, 1 content manager and 2 other linkbuilders. All workers were from Ukraine, so we easily made contact.

We had one chat with our cEO, David, and another with all of our team just to ensure convenient communication.

I met with the workflow and job specifics in this company. We did linkbuilding SEO services for other companies and found other partners to widen the opportunities. All the team were good specialists, and we did our work properly in contrast of David, who tried to do everything without understanding the workload of our team.

He paid with the delays and interrupted our work with the "hot" clients with the need to do more or even to work only for them, just because they had paid him.

I was given the work mail andrew jones (andrew*reverbico.com) and did all my routine stuf through it.

The first problem situation occurred when I said David to made changes in the client's invoice, just because it was some mistakes. I noticed it to him in our general chat. 2-3 times I mentioned him, just because a Polish webmaster asked me for it. David, in general chat, replied that he got tired of that Polish *obscene language* guy and said that he would take care of the problem.
He replied from my work email in a very rude and sarcastic style, and that's it. He mocked and was proud of that. Of course, in a little of time, there appeared feedback on some platform, and David in a serious way, replied that he fired the responsible employee, but that was just a game that he played for 2 roles.

Then, it began salary delay, from month to month, he said, that the clientі is late with payment, and he can't pay us, full SEO team.

At the end, he just said he should reorganise the marketing team, also he would like to work with me, but just took a pause.

3 of 6 people, including the SEO manager (he worked with for 6 years) , he "took the pause", but for sure he wanted to fire and not to pay for the previous month.

Long story shot: he paid only less than half for the working months, and everytime I messaged to hid, he replied in a way "problems with PayPal, I'll try to make the payment till the end of the week, do not write me, I remember about you, and so on". He is not a skilled liar and the worst person, mAN, and employer.

He is also deceived a lot of clients, or excused for himself, and understands that he gave unreal work plans for his workers. Deadlines are missed a lot of times, because the number of clients and the number of workers who might do that work are not commensurate.

5 months have passed, I didn't get the other half.
He didn't even pay SEO manager for 2 months of work. He fired the african content manager, Philippine linkbulder, with no salary for the job done.

I'm asking for the newcomer clients not to deal any of cooperating with him and his projects (reverbico.com, highflyers.media, heal.cr, fastonwardticket.com)

I can share with you any of the message screenshots with him, and you understand how bad this person in the context of a business partner, employer, and other contexts.

The guys are a pleasure to work with - excellent quality and always fast execution.

Very very rude staff. Following is a mail sent by one of their representatives following I asked them to remove me from their email list:

“Are you crying right now?

If you have a DR of 0, your marketing budget is likely also 0, which means you have no revenue/clients.”

Edit: Definition of "A fish rots from the head down". I wouldn't expect nothing more from a company having a manager with this mindset. There is not a single "word" regarding the sex and I wasn't even aware the person I was emailing to is a female...

Second Edit: I just checked, it's Julie, not Julia. I guess you forgot your fake employee's name. You will not get a single bad word from me no matter how your level is low. A person reflects themselves with their words. Thanks for confirming what you are...
