UPDATE to their response on my review: they did not call me 5 minutes within as they are claiming. I called them at 12:22 PM, they called me back at 3:01. I have proof on my phone, so they are lying about that which is odd. I did call three times out of frustration, but at that point, it was faster for me to fix those mistakes myself.

Thank you for acknowledging that omitting my credentials was a mistake. However, my concerns went beyond adding “RN, BSN” after my name. My California RN license number and BLS certification were also missing from the final résumé I received. As a new graduate RN, these are important credentials that should not have been overlooked.

I also felt the résumé was too cluttered, and it looked copied and pasted from AI. It contained a large amount of unnecessary content, making it difficult to quickly identify my qualifications. I spoke with several hospital recruiters, and they prefer concise, ready-to-read resumes, not two page ones that look cluttered. I ultimately had to get help from a nurse recruiter to remove information, re-organize sections, and reformat the résumé myself before I felt comfortable with submitting it according to hospital standards.

While, I appreciate that corrections were offered after I pointed out these issues, I paid $189 expecting a polished, job ready résumé, not one that required me to identify multiple emissions and make significant revisions myself. The fact that changes were available afterwards does not change my experience with the quality of the initial product.

My review reflects my honest experience as a paying customer. Others may have a different experience, but I believe that prospective customers should know that I ultimately spent considerable time rewriting and refining my résumé before I felt confident using it for job applications.

I noticed on their website they said they send out resumes to employers. I wanted to know who some of these employers were just to ensure it was not MLMS, or anything else shady. I got no response.

I have tried repeatedly to get off of their email list, but the unsubscribe button at the end of their email does not work at all. I reached out to them about it but they still send me stuff. I had to block them today.

Positive experience and the resume final quality resuscitated hope that I can be hire at the best career opportunity that I searched for a long time. I’m sharing my experience with Resume Writing Group because I’ve found multiple consumers reporting the same issues I encountered: delayed communication, failure to meet their own timelines, substandard resume quality, retaliatory account suspension after raising concerns, and threats involving law enforcement over a potential credit card dispute.

Payment was made in full, and no dispute was filed until after my account was suspended. I have since filed complaints with the BBB, my state Attorney General, and my credit card company.

Based on the volume of similar complaints, I am consulting with a consumer‑protection attorney to determine whether this may qualify for a class‑action review.

If you’ve had a similar experience, consider filing your own complaints with the BBB, your Attorney General, and your credit card company so there is a documented record of the pattern.

Unprofessional. Difficult to communicate with. Their service was fast, I will say that, but very low quality. After ordering a resume, I wrote to my writer a couple times with additional details and she did acknowledge she had received my messages, her work did not reflect that at all. Plus, I am now being charged $39.95/mo and I don't know why and I don't know how to reach anyone there. Stay away!

I was going to give a review after I received my resume but decided to wait. I'm glad that I did since I've had issues now that they have my money. The resume turned out ok, but I had issues with their guarantee. I've gone over 3 months with no interviews and continuous denial emails. This is for a field that I have 10 years experience in and have even dropped below my actual salary requirements. Come to find out when you ask for a refund (as promised), there's a catch. You have to have applied to a minimum of 40 jobs. On top of that you have to somehow download each "certified" email response. After numerous tickets created, some of which have gone over a week with no response, I'm still in the same spot....waiting for someone to respond. I had my resume audited by another resume company and the VP of a reputable company. The conclusion of both was that the resume was good, but left out quantitive information, no LinkedIn account and looked dated based on the header. If you want your resume done correctly the first time, a company that will answer the phone or return you call, provide a prompt response to any tickets you open, then I recommend using another company. I made the change to another company and have had 3 interviews in just two weeks time.

The process from start to finish was very easy, and the communication was amazing. I was in a crunch to either update my resume myself or outsource it.
