They didn't show up on the day (April 2026). I had to contact them and they kept saying they'd call back and never did. I had to use a more expensive on the day alternative van service to move. They said they would refund me and never did. When I called to ask for an update the customer service representative shouted at me and hung up.

I'm still owed the money I paid for the service as of June 2026 and every time I try to call it goes straight to answerphone. Genuinely considering small claims court.

Truly a horrendous customer service, would never ever use them again

Removals Zone cancelled on me 20 minutes before they were due to arrive. No warning, no contingency, just a last-minute message that left me completely exposed on moving day.
That immediately put me in a position where I had to find an alternative at short notice, which ended up costing significantly more. Anyone who’s moved knows how tight timing is, so this wasn’t a minor inconvenience, it completely derailed the day.
What makes it worse is what happened after. It has now been over a month, and despite chasing multiple times, they still haven’t returned my deposit. Communication has been poor and inconsistent, with no clear resolution.
Unreliable on the day, and even worse when it comes to putting things right afterwards.

£620 for 8 hours on a 1-bedroom flat. Avoid at all cost. Anything in red was not delivered.

I deeply regret booking their service and I felt taken advantage of every step of the way. I booked Removal Zones two months in advance for a 1-bedroom move within the same postcode — a job that should have taken 3-4 hours with any competent company. It took 8 hours, cost me £620, and left me doing a significant portion of the work myself.

The evening before the move, less than 18 hours before the scheduled start, I was informed their packing materials hadn't been delivered. I had to leave work early to source materials myself. They promised their team would collect anything missing first thing in the morning. They didn't.

Their team arrived with no materials, no packing paper, and a folding hand trolley — completely inadequate for a king-sized bed, two workstations, and multiple large furniture items. My husband and I ended up shopping for supplies during our booked 6-hour window, packing suitcases ourselves to compensate for missing boxes, and manually carrying approximately 10% of our belongings — including a 2-metre mirror — after the shift ended.
The booking confirmation explicitly listed furniture blankets, a proper trolley, straps, and furniture wrapping as included. None were adequately provided. My £2,000 mattress was moved completely uncovered.

Throughout all of this, the office team's only communications were to remind us how much the overtime would cost. No apology, no solutions, no accountability — just invoices.
I have since sent a formal complaint and a Letter Before Action. They have not responded.

If you are considering this company, please learn from my experience. And if anything goes wrong, don't expect them to take any responsibility whatsoever.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I was quoted £179 for 2 men + 1 Luton van, booked for between 12-1, they arrived at 15:00 and stayed downstairs smoking cigarettes for the first 30 mins, 1 man decided he had an headache and left to go home leaving me with 1 man and a Luton van. Helped the 1 man as felt bad his mate had left him to do all the work on his own, van packed within 2 hours (really only working 1 hour as first hour wasted with 1 man going off sick). Spoke to head office to send another man as clearly would be difficult for 1 man on his own and would clearly take a lot longer, office unable to help and said the 1 man would proceed on his own. Later he was told the price would be £370 (1 man + van x 5 hours). Clearly no discount for the 2 man + van I was supposed to have for £179. Clear scam where 1 man leaves to make the job last longer so you have to pay more. Was told if I do not pay, the driver will unload my items onto the street in the rain. These guys need to be investigated, cannot speak clear English or understand. Full on cowboys. Don’t waste your money, use a reputable firm. I was deceived by their 4.5 rating on trustpilot but these guys are far from it.

The office team were responsive and answered all my calls and messages in the days leading up to the move. They gave frequent updates on arrival time. The moving team from the beginning were polite, cheery and very efficient and fast. They got all my stuff moved in in record time. Perfect!

I wish I'd read all the negative reviews about this company on their google review page before booking them. Unfortunately I'd have to rate this company extremely low due to the amount of time the job ended up taking. Although the two men were very nice and friendly, the job should not have taken 7 hours. I was literally moving a ten minute drive away, and in addition to boxes only had two large items (a washing machine and bed). The method used was one of the men loaded the van while the other carried one box at a time up and dwn the stairs, which was ridiculous. The job ended up costing me £555 when I was originally quoted £179 for two hours. The company advised the job cost extra because it took longer than expected due to having stairs (despite when quoting me advising that I would not be charged more for having stairs, and that there would be no hidden costs). I feel it took 7 hours because of the method used. Having one guy doing the bulk of the carrying, lifting one box at a time, wasted a lot of time.

The gentlemen were quick, organised and careful handling the different items.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this removal company, particularly their poor customer service and lack of communication.
On 28/02/26, the team arrived three hours late, despite the fact that I had already been asked the day before to change my booking from the morning to the afternoon to accommodate them. Even after adjusting my schedule, they still failed to arrive on time. What’s worse, I was never informed of the delay—I had to chase them myself. When I finally got through, there was no genuine apology offered.
The only positive part of this experience was the delivery team. The movers were professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful when dismantling and handling our belongings. They even informed us that they had already notified the office about the delays, which makes the lack of communication from the office even more frustrating.
Unfortunately, the office staff and phone operators represent the company very poorly. Their customer service skills are lacking, and they seem uninterested in resolving issues.
The biggest issue is that I was charged in advance for a parking ticket due to private parking at my address, yet no ticket was ever provided. Chasing this has been an absolute headache. Every time I contact them, I’m told they will “speak to the driver manager,” but nothing ever happens. It has now been over 14 days—well beyond the timeframe they promised—and I am still waiting. My most recent call ended with them hanging up on me, which is completely unacceptable.
All I am asking for is simple: provide the ticket that I was charged for, or have someone take responsibility and follow up properly.
I am genuinely upset by how I have been treated. This experience highlights how important communication and customer care really are.
I strongly advise others to avoid this company if you want to save yourself the stress, frustration, and time spent chasing basic information.

Save yourself some money and go elsewhere. They have caused damages to most of our belongings, and then asked for a lot more money. I genuinely believe the reviews on here are fake, because we have had a friend who’s used them too, and have had the same expierencing. They’ve only recently started getting positive reviews which is quite odd.

All our things packed up very quickly with no fuss. Very friendly service from Krasi and Chris!
