I have tried to find good bookkeepers for YEARS and was unsuccessful until I found Remotebooks. Previously, I only found mediocre bookkeepers who don't have a full grasp of accounting principles, and so I was left doing my own books to ensure they were correct. Because I was running two companies, I ran behind on my books and was faced with a tax deadline and had to find competent help. This time I found RemoteBooks and after my phone consult, I felt very comfortable with their accounting knowledge and the processes they would use. Within about 10 days, they had caught up on a years worth of reconciliation and categorisations (for two companies) and now my Balance Sheet and P&L look super clean and they are accurate (I dug in deep to double check).
I will be using Remote Books to do my books moving forward and feel so much freedom that I don't have to worry about this any longer!

I hired RBO to help with the book keeping for my small business. I had been doing it myself and wanted the time back to invest in other aspects of the business as well as my family. RBO does complete the books in a somewhat timely manner, but often misses the important details required of a thorough job. I have had to keep an eye on the books as well as sending them corrections on-top of the corrections I make myself including some accounting errors. This requires me to spend nearly the same amount of time I was before.

We like the fact that we don’t have to focus on our books anymore. If we changed anything we’d recommend adding suggestions on how companies can improve based off the books.
