Our trip exceeded all expectations, România was a revelation. Without exception we were welcomed with enthusiasm and kindness. The itinerary was packed full of food and drink experiences which were very varied and enjoyable. What’s not to love about staying at a vineyard on our first night tasting their lovely wines then a sparkling wine tasting the next morning. Our visit to Bran Castle was great. The tour continued with traditional food made with local produce and craft drinks made by passionate people. So many highlights. We especially enjoyed visiting an organic veg farm and our cooking experience with a spectacular view. I can’t praise our guide highly enough. He was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He made the whole trip run smoothly and was great company. He added in stops for extra local treats and fun thing like a photo opportunity at a film set. We laughed a lot and learned loads about both ancient and modern Romanian history. Romania is well worth a visit and I would highly recommend this tour.

I’ve recently just been on a 2 week adventure in South Africa with Red Kite Adventures and I couldn’t recommend them enough! The whole trip was well planned and I loved that there was an aspect of involvement in the local community as it allows you to really connect with a country. Matt is amazing and has been so helpful through the whole booking process and is always there if you have any questions about anything. Throughout the whole trip I felt safe and well looked after and I can’t wait to go on future trips with Red Kite Adventures!

I feel privileged to have been part of a group that experienced diverse România last week enjoying amazing food chosen especially to allow us to taste România at its rustic best. We could not have wished for a better travelling companion than our guide Bodman
With his help we learned about the culture and history, we learned about the people and we met amazing people along the way demonstrating there skills be it organic farming brewing distilling farming cheese making delivered to us with passion. We saw the diverse landscape with mountains and plains forest lakes and gorges. We experienced history and ledgers in Bran Castle and visited an amazing fortified church and stayed in an authentic Saxon Village. There is so much more I could say but escorted tours cannot get better than this.
