I have worked with Redfearn Experts for a number of years and have found them to be professional and efficient throughout that time. They provide excellent customer care with detailed expert reports.

Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer reliable, truly independent, professional surveyors out there.

We experienced this first hand when British Gas submitted their so called “independent surveyors” reports on why our house had mould and damp following the installation of cavity wall insulation.

It remains our view that large corporations are simply contaminating surveyors professional impartiality which we had on two separate reports.

These so called reports then gave British Gas the fall back position that both reports had concluded that it was not their liability. (These surveyors surprisingly carry out a lot of BG’s work, not hard to see why).

It’s not only the way the surveyors reports are written in favour of British Gas, but also what they fail to report with their blind eye, even when the issues have been pointed out to them at the time of the survey.

However despite these reports and having to take on British Gas with their limitless resource, Simon was willing to do so on the failed cavity wall insulation, which was causing even more mould and damp as time went on.

Simons dedication and professionalism throughout the court case resulted in British Gas having to settle out of court.

Without Simon and his team, this simply would not have happened and we would have become yet another CWI case buried by British Gas throwing money at a Court Cases rather than the necessary rectification works.

First class surveyor and an absolute god send in our case and also others in our area.
