Outstanding Support
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Raj for his efforts and dedication he put forth while providing assistance as a Customer Service Representative at Recreation Outfitters.
On 15 June, I contacted Customer Service regarding a potential purchase of a Hanover - Manor 5-Piece High-Dining Set. I was very hesitant to make the purchase over the phone without seeing this item in person, but after speaking with Raj I made the purchase on the 16th. Raj, in my opinion, went out of his way to relive my anxiety and contact me via email or telephonically to keep me informed of the location, tracking and delivery time and date.
He answered all questions without hesitation and thoroughness. His excellent communication skills, knowledge of processes, and willingness to take some extra steps and efforts are commendatory.
Customer Service was excellent
Ordering was easy. After the order was placed, there was little to no info available on line regarding the order for several days.
I called and spoke with Raj. He was extremely helpful. His assistance and follow up was exceptional and much appreciated. He followed the transaction all the way through to confirming delivery.
Total scam
Total scam. They never had the part and send me emails every couple of days saying it was still in process and would come soon. Its been 28 days. I asked to cancel today with a call and email and they have done nothing. The part I ordered was discontinued. I ordered from this place because they showed it in stock. When I called they new nothing about the process other than they drop ship most things.
Update to my prior review
Update to my prior review. My order has still not shipped with promises weekly of shipping in a few days. What is most concerning is that i just realized they company has charged my credit card on the day of order which is not a usual practice. VERY CONCERNING
Do not trust shipping/delivery dates
Shipping and delivery dates are not close to accurate. Original shipping/ delivery was reasonable at the time of my order, approximately 10 days to deliver. When I received the first notification of delayed delivery, I reached out to customer service and they stated that they were confident of the new ship date. On the day my order was supposed to ship I received an automated generic email notifying me of another delay. If not delayed again, my order will arrive greater than one month from placing the order.
I understand orders can be delayed, but they are still taking orders today for product that cannot be filled in a reasonable amount of time.

Great customer support
After purchasing my kayak, I called support to ask about delivery date. Raj provided me with clear guidance on tracking my order. I enjoyed his polite manners and patient attention to my questions. I would highly recommend Recreation Outfitters for purchasing your kayak or other products.
Replacement parts
Customer service by Raj was great. Due to some confusion on the part of myself and the company replacement parts were sent to a previously used address. I was not able to recover the parts from the contractor who is now out of business. Raj was able to work with the warehouse to get the parts reordered and shipped quickly at no cost to me. As the heaters had been moved to another location since the originally order he followed up to assure the parts went to the correct location and continued to follow up until they were received. Can't say enough how much I appreciated his constant communication, it was outstanding!

For so long I've wanted a real rabbit throw for my living room. Picture this: a snowy winter evening curled up with a good book, and snuggled in this warm wrap.
Just a few days before Christmas, I saw the perfect rabbit throw, and on sale. So I called the information line, speaking with Raj who answered all my questions. Not AI, but a human specialist here who spoke to me and helped me through the process of making the purchase. And he did his very best to deliver by Christmas. This was amazing!

Don't deal with this company
I ordered a furniture item. After several days, they notified me that it was unavailable and offered some possible replacement items which I did not accept. I asked for my money back. Two weeks later after not having received my refund, I called them. They said the refund will be forthcoming in three to five days. It did not come. I called them again. Same story it will be forthcoming. It has not arrived as they said it would. They owe me over $600 for not completing my order. I will report them to the BBB and speak about this with my lawyer. This company is one that no one should ever deal with. There's something going on with them that is unethical and untrustworthy
