The Razorpay company is fraud

The Razorpay company is fraud. I request everyone to file a legal complaint about them. Dont use this payment method for the payments if you are a customer or merchant or a normal user. They are fraud and cheating with you. Your money is at risk if you use Razorpay service.

Friends do not ever use this payment…

Friends do not ever use this payment gateway. They will initially allow you to start transacting and receiving payment on your website. And then when settlement time arrives they will suspend your account saying "It was necessary to do so because of a risk alert for non-compliance with regulatory guidelines as set by one of our partner banks."
They will hold you money for 120 days and enjoy that till the time you forget that you used their PG.
My ticket ID - 14748530. They have done this to me and now enjoying my money.
Please use PayU as they never do such type of frauds.

Opaque, usurious and nasty business

I purchased a product online. The vendor then contacted me to say that there was a flaw in the product, so I cancelled my order. They refunded my purchase, less about 2.5%. When I contacted the vendor, they informed me that this was a non-refundable platform fee charged by this business.

This slimy business not only charges A PERCENTAGE OF THE SALE as a platform fee, but also they don't show this at all, and don't refund it if the transaction is reversed.

Worst experience about this company.

Worst experience about this company.
They are degrading day by day.
No proper response.
My settlement has be held since 1 year.
Despite of multiple emails, they dont respond.
Now on my approval they closed my account. and have digested the settlement fund.

Horrible experience. Took my money and didn't pay the merchant.

Horrible experience. I paid up by UPI, money debited from my bank but never credited to the merchant. It's been 5 days and I am still waiting. Every time I try to raise ticket, it gives technical error. This is how they chest thousands of customers everyday.

Transaction done on 6th March 2025 to Hostinger(merchant) from Shrihari Kulkarni. Amount : 5069.28 INR.

SCAM - Poor Customer Service

Razorpay have a very pathetic customer service. I had an issue with international payments and raised multiple support tickets.
They have a legendary answer - "I will make sure the process is expedited and you are updated within tomorrow or even if possible by end today. We will have our experts to look into the concern and resolve it at the earliest."

The issue won't even looked at it for months.

Extremely poor screen design for using…

Extremely poor screen design for using on a laptop.

On the transactions page, the most important field i.e. status of the payment, captured/failed/authorized is on the extreme right, to see it, one needs to scroll to the bottom and then drag the bar to the right, then scroll to the top to see the status.

It seems that Razorpay doesn't employee and designers.

I submitted my request for KYC as a startup and they said we will not provide you a gateway until your app is online and live for 6 months. How will this work for my business. I should keep hold on my business for 6 months. I asked for an alternate solution they said nothing can be done. Who would want to use this ?

Amount of 6365/- not setteled since 2 months.
Inspite of several complaints.
No response from Razorpay.
Very poor service.
Every time I chase for the amount, they replied, amount will be setteled within 24hrs.
But this 24hrs never came,.
Can any1 suggest, how to get back the money

To all dear merchants,

Please don't open account with razorpay,they are running a scam , anytime any moment,they will hold your entire funds and will day that their banking partner have asked them to put on hold,they hold my 2 lakh rs and start asking to share baseless evidence which is not possible to provide,and when asking to share the screenshot of the banking partner,they simply run away with no answer, I am planning to file a case ,and will definitely do,but everyone must be aware...when you will ask them that why the merchant were not informed regarding such 3rd class payment holding method before onboarding,they will ran away saying it was mentioned in terms and conditions,we all know that no one will read terms and conditions,they need some solid treatment,will definitely teach them a solid legal lesson ,and will make a video on them

The company gives excuss like, their banking partner decided to disable the merchant account. What ever the problem you reach with the support team of razor pay.
they simply give 1 excuse, I don't know who the banking partner is for this type of scam payment gateway provider. my remittance of 1 lakh are kept in hold.
don;t sing up they will hold your money.

worst payment gateway

worst payment gateway. never ever go with Razorpay. onboarding is very hard as all the people are totally illiterate technically, they don't know how a website works. It took months before accepting my website after continuous rejection. every time I remove the objections they come up with new objections. it went on for around 2 months and endless hours over the call, and multiple emails, it was totally nightmare. some of the strange reasons for rejection were: why free product, why an external link for blog, online video editing course is not an E-Commerce and so on. please go with some other company and not for Razorpay.

🚨 FRAUD ALERT – Razorpay Supports Scammers! 🚨

I made a payment through Razorpay for server hosting, but the seller turned out to be a fraud. Until now, I have not received the service, and the seller is completely unresponsive. They have scammed me and others, with no attempt to provide the service promised.

Despite raising multiple tickets with Razorpay support, there has been no action taken. Razorpay is clearly allowing fraudulent sellers to operate on their platform without any real verification or accountability.

If Razorpay is truly committed to customer protection, they need to suspend the fraudulent seller’s account immediately and issue refunds to all affected customers.

If you value your money, do not trust Razorpay for payments—they are enabling scammers to thrive. BEWARE! 🚨

no customer care service

I paid 400.64 rupees in deodap shopping website for my products, the payment was made but not updated, when asked deodap customer care, they asked me to contact razorpay for refund, but razorpay is fraud not replying, fraud company razorpay. I will change this review if my problem solved.
