Special thanks for Ciara - Luna

Living in Luna has been fantastic. Whether it is maintenance services, a nice concierge to greet me and answer questions, or simply having pastries with friends, it is the perfect place. A special mention to Ciara, who is always so lovely and greets me very nicely. She is quick to help and answer my questions, and she is always smiling and taking care of the residents’ needs!

Shoutout to Ciara

Ciara is truly the glue of this building. She keeps everything running so smoothly and is incredibly efficient - things just get sorted quickly and without any fuss, which makes a huge difference day to day! On top of that, she's always kind, approachable, and creates a really welcoming atmosphere - which is key in a build to rent known for its "community" and shared living spaces. It never goes unnoticed how she always opens the door for residents, anticipates what people need, and just quietly makes life a lot easier for everyone. The building - and living here - genuinely wouldn't feel the same without her!

Lovely Place to live in London

Our experience at Solar – Quintain Living has been fantastic since day one.

When we first started looking for a flat, Rachel was incredibly patient and helpful, taking the time to show us multiple apartments until we found the one that felt right for us. Her support made the whole moving process smooth and stress-free.

Throughout our time living at Solar, the building has been excellent — modern, very well maintained, and a genuinely comfortable place to live. The facilities are great and everything is managed to a very high standard, which made day-to-day life very easy and enjoyable.

What really makes the difference is the resident team. They are always professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. A special thank you to Sonam and Ciara, who were both incredibly supportive during our stay and always quick to help whenever we needed anything. Their professionalism and friendliness really made us feel welcome.

We have now relocated outside the UK, but we truly enjoyed our time here and are very grateful to the entire team for making it such a positive experience. We would absolutely recommend Solar and Quintain Living to anyone looking for a high-quality place to live in London.

Disappointing experience for a “premium” rental

I lived in the Solar building managed by Quintain Living and several advertised services were never available during my tenancy. The intercom system didn’t work at all, meaning I had to go downstairs for every delivery or visitor. Parcel room access was unclear and unreliable, and there was no consistent concierge presence in Solar (staff were based in Luna instead), none of which was disclosed before signing.

The most serious issue was persistent, loud noise from a servicing/utility room opposite my flat, often at night, which repeatedly disrupted my sleep. I raised this multiple times over nearly three months, but it was only offered to be looked at right at the end of my tenancy.

I understand new builds have teething issues, but paying a premium rent while absorbing all the inconvenience — with no rent adjustment or goodwill offered — was disappointing. I raised a formal complaint; the issues were noted, but no compensation was provided. I’d advise prospective tenants to ask very clearly which services are actually operational before signing. The only notable positive experience was the personality and interactions with the Luna receptionist, Ciara

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry that your experience at Solar fell short of the standard you expected.

We understand how inconvenient the intercom issue was, particularly when it affected deliveries and visitors. While the system has since been resolved, we appreciate that during your tenancy it meant additional trips downstairs. Although the intercom provides access to the lobby, lift access is resident only, which does mean deliveries still need to be collected from the lobby, we recognise this wasn’t as clear as it should have been, and we apologise for that lack of clarity.

We also apologise for the confusion around parcel handling. During the early opening period of Solar, there were some initial challenges with the Solar parcel room, and parcels were therefore kept securely in the Luna parcel room. While security was always maintained, we appreciate that the process may have felt unclear and unreliable at the time.

Regarding on site presence, we the Residents Team are based in Luna and support Solar, and we are always present across both buildings. In addition, night security staff are also located on the front desk in Solar between 8pm and 8am. Throughout this period, teams at both Solar and Luna were always contactable by phone or in person, though we understand that this arrangement may not have felt as consistent or visible as expected.

We apologise for the ongoing noise disturbance you experienced. We know how disruptive this can be, especially when it affects your sleep. As Solar is a brand new development, there were some early operational issues, and once the source of the noise was identified, it was resolved. That said, we fully recognise that this took longer than it should have and apologise for the impact this had on your day to day living.

We’re really pleased to hear your kind words about Ciara from the Residents Team. She will be thrilled to know that her warmth, personality, and genuine care made a positive difference during your time with us, and we’re proud to have her as part of our team.
