Amazing first-time experience using Quick Man & Van (HRB Removals). Very easy to book, smooth removal from start to finish. Highly recommended.

On time, and as described. Driver not very chatty but didnt matter, we got the sofa from A to B so thats the main thing!

The driver was prompt, efficient and very helpful. The furniture was moved very quickly and obviously by someone with experience. I know where to go when I need to move furniture again. Perfect.

I paid £456 for a door-to-door moving service, including £180 specifically for five hours of driver assistance with loading and unloading. However, the driver left after about four hours, so I did not receive the full service I paid for.

The driver unloaded all of my belongings outside, and I had to carry everything inside myself. I have photo evidence of this, which I provided to the company.

I found the driver unprofessional and unprepared — he had no straps or blankets to protect my items, and did not handle them with care. During the company’s internal investigation, the driver gave an account that did not match my experience. I explained this to the company and provided supporting details, including confirmation from my flatmate that we had a key and did not ask him to leave.

One of my lights was damaged during the move, and leaving my belongings outside felt unsafe and stressful.

The company’s response - a £36 refund - felt inadequate given the scale of the issues I experienced.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I booked a medium sized van on two occasions; both were met with cancellations and delays without good communication.

The first time, I tried and failed to get in touch with the driver before the scheduled time. An hour afterwards, he finally responded and told me that the job had been given to someone else, with no further explanations. I then called Quick Man & Van to get things resolved, but couldn't get through on any of their phone numbers.

Later on, I got a callback and was told they'd rescheduled my job for two and a half hours later. I was further reminded of all the potential extra charges that may occur. Then, I was sent an email "confirming the change".

I called back and informed them that this extreme change in time means that we could not arrive before my destination, a storage facility, closed. I was given lots and lots of explanations (frankly, excuses) of why delays occur. I had to cancel on this day.

I tried booking again for two days later, and took time off my work to make the timings work. This time, the driver told me in the morning that again, he couldn't make it, but gave the job to someone else. I emphasised that I need them to not be late, and he assured me it was fine.

The replacement driver arrived an hour and a half late, took a look around, didn't see a parking space (which I immediately secured 10 minutes later), then left without a word and without responding to further messages.

I then called up Quick Man & Van again, to which I was told they'd schedule me in a replacement for two hours and a half after my booking. They finally showed up - the driver, from a subcontracted company, was very helpful.

All in all, being forced to dash around to the storage facility alone, extra rent, and more cost me more than two hundred pounds, all because Quick Man & Van could not communicate to me properly. I understand a van breaking down, being stuck in traffic, or a previous job taking longer. But what happened here is simply unacceptable. Worst? I am forced to suck up the hundreds of pounds of loss.

Otherwise, the prices are OK, and they were reasonably transparent about extra charges.

It's the second time i used this company.
This time it was a different driver (Ambark) and he was on time, professional and friendly.

Just running a little late from a previous job the driver informed me well in advance and kept up to date. Overall a brilliant job, super helpful. When we found I had booked the waste drop-off a week early by mistake the driver persuaded the recyclers to accept the drop a week early. I really recommend Bilal Sebai, really great job. Please use them.

I had a fantastic experience with Andrei’s man and van service. He arrived right on time, was extremely polite and humble, and helped us with both loading and unloading, making the whole move stress-free. Andrei took great care of our belongings, securing items like wardrobes with straps and blankets so nothing was damaged or scratched. He also drove very safely, which gave us peace of mind throughout the journey. No extra hidden charges. Overall, a very professional, reliable, and genuinely helpful service. I’d definitely recommend Andrei to anyone looking for a trustworthy man and van!

The driver rang before he came with an approximate time. Our sofas are quite bulky so we were quite worried about how to get them in place but the gentleman knew what he was doing. Thank you for making our move smooth :)
