Julia at Qualified Tutor was an absolute lifesaver. From the very first conversation she was quick, kind, and so understanding of our situation. She immediately found us the right tutor who not only knows the syllabus inside out but also has the patience and skill to fill in the gaps where our child was struggling.

The change we saw was incredible – our child went from feeling overwhelmed and anxious to becoming more confident and motivated with each lesson. It was such a relief to see the panic and stress lifted from them, and to know they could have the extra support they needed to cover the whole syllabus properly at their own pace.

As parents, this took a huge weight off our shoulders too. Qualified Tutors efficiency and genuine care made the whole process easy and stress-free. We are so grateful for their help and can’t recommend them highly enough.

I bought Julia Silver's "Love Tutoring" book through Amazon, hoping for a few pointers. What I got, in fact, was the most inspiring guide and call to action for tutors, as well as invaluable practical advice. I am now halfway through the Level 3 Award in Education and Training run by Qualified Tutor, which ties in with the book. I am finding it incredibly useful. As well as covering the nuts and bolts of tutoring, the course requires participants to reflect on their existing practice and approaches. Tailored to the tutoring profession, it is a powerful and thought-provoking course. Julia and Odette are absolute stars and I am delighted to have found the Qualified Tutor community.

Qualified Tutor has brought together an amazing group of tutors. The organisation provides a wonderful support network for independent tutors and excellent training/CPD. As a tutor, I can't recommend the organisation enough.
Qualified Tutor also provides a safe way for parents to find suitable tutors for their children. Anyone with Qualified Tutor status has been through a rigorous vetting and training process, so parents can employ them with confidence.

Qualified Tutor have a rigorous and efficient onboarding service. They are well organised, really helpful and get things moving. This is brilliant for both tutor and clients because they have a service you can trust. Communication is always prompt and caring. I recommend this service.

I joined QT at the end of last year and I’ve really found my membership to be very useful! Some standout elements include the Foundations of Effective Tutoring, which can help you shift your mindset from teaching to tutoring, and also help in acquiring an enhanced DBS. I think the community is best of all, though, lots of other tutors looking to share and grow together! I regularly attend some of the professional development events QT arrange to develop my skills and stay connected with others. Julia and Hannah have been very helpful in getting me established as a QT ‘certified’ tutor, giving parents that extra confidence in my experience and credentials.

Julia and the QT team have created a fantastic platform for tutor training and connection which is leading the way in the tutoring industry. High standards are required of members but the welcome is warm and they are ambitious in building an ethos which is inclusive and an authority in the sector.

The QT level 3 course is invaluable if you're looking to raise your standards as a tutor. The course is set out in a clear and concise manner and leads a tutor through everything they need to know when providing lessons to a young learner. It covers the theory behind teaching and how to be the best tutor and in return get the best out of students. It includes valuable information about how to keep a child safe as well as how to help a children who are neurologically challenged. I'm delighted to have completed this course as I feel as though it's given me everything I need to be the best tutor I can be to my students. For those tutors looking to improve their teaching approach I would highly recommend this course. Julia and Hannah were very helpful and supportive throughout my learning journey.

We are using the onboarding tracker from Qualified Tutor to manage our tutor recruitment and we love it, Previously we were using an Excel spreadsheet but whilst this is similar in design, it is superior in usability, appearance and management of recruitment. Definitely recommend if you are recruiting and onboarding tutors.

In developing both my credentials as a professional and my tuition business overall, Qualified Tutor provides an excellent role and an inspiring service.
