I had breast implants done by Dr Awf Quaba around 4 years ago and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made, the consulation and pre surgery plans went well, we discussed size and shape of implants and agreed that round implants would be the best option as my own breast were already droopy. After the surgery I was told I had been given teardrop implants which I thought was very strange as it had been discussed how this would not be suitable for me. I experienced the worst pain after surgery unable to move or make the slightest movement without having severe pain this continued for well over a week. Anyway less than a year after my surgery I noticed my implants had dropped and I could feel them underneath my breast. I booked a consultation elsewhere and was told I had (double bubble) on both breasts where the implants had fallen from under my muscle. I paid 8 thousand pounds to have this fixed, and found out the implants used has since been made illegal to use, I was not informed about this from Dr Quaba or his team. I was then told after this surgery that my right implant had turned upside down and back to fromt, the pockets made from my first surgery were so large I had to have 40 internal stitches on each side to close this up my surgeon could not believe that this was done by a surgeon as highly recommended as Dr quaba. I explained the whole situation to Dr Awf Quaba but was given no compensation and no sympathy for what I had gone through, through no fault of my own. I would include photos but they are soo awful I think it may put everyone off surgery. Although you may read lots of 5 star reviews about this surgeon, don't be fooled avoid avoid avoid!!

6 months ago I had a breast implant removal and breast uplift with Mr Awf Quaba.

I found Mr Quaba to be very kind and caring. He put me at ease with his gentle nature and he explained everything to me in great detail.
He is very professional and I believe he really does care about the needs and expectations of his patients.

I am absolutely delighted with my results.
I cannot fault the procedure in anyway, only I wish I'd done it sooner.
I had become rather ill for many years and heard about breast implant illness only 2 years ago, all of the symptoms matched how I was feeling and now that the implants were removed I now feel 100% better.
I asked to have my implants removed En-bloc which Mr Quaba agreed to without any issues.
My final results are absolutely perfect. My scars are hardly visable and the shape and size are excellent.

I cannot recommend My Quaba enough, he is a fantastic and very skilled surgeon and I would be more than happy to use him again in the future.

I had to travel over 300 miles to have a consultation and again to have the surgery so I did lots of research and initially visited 3 different hospitals before deciding on Mr Omar Quaba at the Murrayfield Spire Hospital in Edinburgh. Mr Quaba immediately made me feel at ease and explained the procedure fully (tummy tuck) and all associated risks and possible complications. I went back home with all the information required to make an informed decision about that procedure.
Mr Quaba agreed to have another (telephone) consultation at my request to discuss an additional procedure (breast reduction & lift) and decided to have the 2 operations at the same time.

As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I knew I was in good hands and Mr Quaba made me feel relaxed and confident. My surgery went very well and I was very pleasantly surprised that it was not nearly as painful as I had expected and I was delighted to have no drains, nor did I have to wear compression garments.
After 2 very comfortable nights in hospital with wonderful care, I was discharged to stay with friends until my check up a week later. I was given phone numbers to call had I any worries or problems (which I didn't) and then 6 months later I met Mr Quaba again for a follow up appointment.
It was a very positive experience and if I felt I required any further procedures, Mr Quaba would be my 1st choice!

My experience with Mr Quaba was first class from start to finish.
From an initial meeting at an open night, to our first consultation, right through to the procedure itself and the aftercare - I cannot recommend this man enough.
He managed my expectations of surgery and explained the process thoroughly in order for me to make an informed decision about a life changing procedure. Once in hospital for the procedure, I felt extremely safe in his care. Mr Quaba and his team put me at ease immediately, and the procedure itself went really well.
I experienced an uneventful recovery with no complications where Mr Quaba personally checked on me daily. I am absolutely delighted with the results.
He is kind, committed to providing excellent patient care, and extremely professional.
