We recently played ‘The Deceit’. We were missing a piece of evidence that meant we couldn’t complete the puzzle so overall disappointing…
We were given up to 5 copies of some pieces of evidence, but then 0 copy of one crucial piece! This really ruined it at the end for us.
Puzzles were pretty basic and disappointingly didn’t all link together. It was just looking at one piece of evidence at a time.
Limited storyline and character development.
Overall, there are other at home escape room companies we’d recommend first…

Best Advent calendar ever!
I was so excited that I was able to nab one before they sold out! My 13 year old and I are big Taskmaster fans (watching on YouTube from the U.S.) It was wonderful having something fun to do together every day through December. The puzzles were just the right level of clever but not impossible. And there were so many inside jokes and Taskmaster lore crammed in. This is clearly designed by people who know and love Taskmaster, it's not just branded that way. It's Taskmaster through and through. Inside each door was a room in the house and there were multiple times we had to go back and find rooms or items from previous days. We were really careful to put everything back together (even at the end, which seems like it might truly be the end of the calendar, it was easy to reassemble) and we're passing it on to a family friend who is a huge Taskmaster fan and doing it for January! Really good quality.

missing multiple pieces but still fun
We had a lot of fun solving The Blunder but unfortunately our envelope was missing two clues. Luckily we were able to go through their customer support and find them quickly but it had us quite lost for a while.

Was given The Confession as a Christmas…
Was given The Confession as a Christmas gift. I love puzzles and couldn’t wait to get stuck in but what a disappointment. Some of the puzzles were doable but others were obtuse and made no sense. We’re smart people but we were just stumped by this. The clues are as unhelpful as the rest of the game. Gave up after half an hour. Will pass it onto some friends and see how they get on. Maybe it was just us?

We loved this
We loved this, we were slow to get going but soon got in to the swing of things. Only problem was that the Script was missing. We had to get the answer for that one. Such a shame, but otherwise great fun.

Great puzzle activity for all the family!
I completed 'The Inheritance' with my family over Christmas - it was a great experience and the puzzles were of a good difficulty. It is definitely suitable for families, as there were puzzles solvable by all ages, although this did mean that with 8 of us we got through it very quickly! It was a good activity for an afternoon, though. The customer service is excellent - I found a small issue with a website in the puzzle, and the customer service team offered me another product for free as compensation! Overall, would definitely buy again - especially perfect for a Secret Santa present :)

Claudia came for Christmas!
We were given Traitors Crackers for Christmas Day and had the best time. Really clever well thought out game, that actually worked. We all really got into the traitor/faithful vibe and had a great time doing the challenges and particularly the round table moment. One of our party took the Claudia role, (in full fancy dress!) and apart from being very funny it was rather useful for those who were not very App savvy. Loved it…what’s next…

Taskmaster Advent Calendar was great!
My daughter bought (4) of these for (4) couples to complete. Everyone gave status updates each day, alot of fun for us Taskmaster fans here in the US. The game was well made and innovative, hope there is one next year.

Brilliant Taskmaster Advent Calendar…
We had the Taskmaster Advent Calendar and it was brilliant. Very well made and very high quality. The puzzles were fun and inventive. It made us laugh and scratch our heads at times too.
Can't wait till next year's one ! In fact I'd like one for every day of the year :)

Bought the Taskmaster advent calendar…
Bought the Taskmaster advent calendar for my husband. What a blast, we had so much fun trying to work out the clues. Some we managed quite quickly, some took a little longer.
Will definitely be getting another one for next year.

Taskmaster Advent Calendar - winner!
The Taskmaster Advent Calendar is outstanding. (No spoilers.)!I can highly recommend this to fans of the show. Splendid puzzles. Inventive “out of the box” ideas and even interactive tasks! If there is a 2026 edition, I am definitely getting it. It was great fun working out the puzzles with the family. It was rarely just one person solving. Usually a team effort. Great fun.

Very disappointing game
Very disappointing game. Very difficult to follow and once you have worked out the code the endgame is ridiculously underwhelming I would absolutely not recommend!

Poor game.
Poor.
Each number you must find is not in order.
The clues are as useless as the original instructions.
Would not recommend, may just be a bad one of the available as the concept is good.

Got the secret set for christmas, love doing puzzles and escape room type stuff, puzzles are generally good however absolutely full of AI art. it ruins the experience knowing they couldn't be bothered to pay any artists. AI slop

Thank you for your feedback regarding the use of AI in The Secret Set.
We have a brilliant in-house product team with backgrounds in graphic design, game design and illustration, who produce lots of original artwork, visuals and designs for our Escape Room Games and other products. We're very proud of the creativity and care that goes into everything they produce.
We do use AI to generate some images and to assist with writing some of the copy within our games. Using AI in these ways helps us to enhance the experience of our games, often allowing us to create a puzzle we otherwise wouldn't be able to, but it doesn't replace the need for original work by our product team and high-quality stock imagery.
All of the gameplay and puzzle design is done without the use of AI and comes from our team's experience and a whole heap of play testing that each game goes through. We don't use AI to create puzzles or design how our products play. We appreciate that there are differing views on the use of AI across all industries - our approach is to use it sparingly to supplement our creative teams' work and to enhance the experience of our games.
I hope this helps to give a bit more context on the ways we do and don't use AI for the creation of our games. If you have any questions, do let me know.
